I have kind of liked Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. I guess Virginia Tech was due to Beamer and Tyrod Taylor. West Virginia was very fun to use in NCAA Football around 2007-2008. Virginia is a more recent rooting interest, as their last couple quarterbacks (Bryce Perkins and Brennan Armstrong have been fun to watch). I wanted to see who y'all like aside from your favorite team, and why?

I like NC State & Stanford. They both seem scrappy, and very SEC-like in their approach to football.

I really like South Carolina. For some reason, I like having them on the schedule annually.

All good-natured joking aside, I have always liked LSU, back even before the extended series in the '80s and '90s. I see LSU historically as being very similar to A&M.

But, for the record, LSU sucks.

Lsu: we had a condo time share in Destin growing up. The neighbors over the same 2 weeks were Cajun as a nutria dinner. I was about 6 when we first met them, and I just assumed they were foreign. My dad and their dad and uncle were immediate vacation buddies drinking beer, playing golf, cards and busting each other's balls over football over the years. Great people that triggered my like for LSU fans.

Later in life I was stationed at Ft Polk (at the onset of the Saban tenure there) and it was more of the same. Plus, the EdCenter on post had an LSU masters program that attracted a lot of junior officers stationed there, so the neighborhood essentially became a majority of LSU fans by default

Loved their passion for the game and excitement to emerge as a CFB power. It was hard not to pull for them.

Still is.

Iowa State, Virginia Tech…blue collar dogs, wrecking shite often, doing more with less in remote outposts where few kids want to play…

Also Kansas State under Snyder.

I like Georgia because they have to deal with that it's been 41 years since you've won a championship crap. For us it has been twice as long

WV- I like WV the state and the big rain game at JH was awesome. BYU- had some nephews play for them and Steve Young was one of my favorite QB's, Utah- I have a nephew that plays there now and I think Wittingham is a hell of a coach.

I can't stand any of the Big 10 teams and I enjoy watching Oregon play.

I like the Ragin' Cajuns because I have family ties to the university.

I have always liked Oregon because of their colors, and uniforms, and the fact that I used to wreck shite with them on the playstation. And Eugene seems like a really cool place to go to live.

Same here. I developed a liking for them under Spurrier and that hasn't changed even though they're our cross divisional rival. Also, their fans seem to be the least douchey, at least on this site. Also like Kentucky and their fans on here. They know they're a basketball school, so when they do have some football success they just enjoy it and don't let it go to their heads. Who knows though.....both fan bases could become completely insufferable like Tennessee if they started having consistent success.

I always liked Michigan as a kid and still have a soft spot for them. I think it was the helmet at first and later because of my disdain for OSU.

Have always liked Va Tech. The atmosphere, Beamerball and the whole vibe really drew me in.

For me it’s Ohio State. When I graduated from LSU in 94, I decided to leave and try a new area in the country to live. I wanted to live in a city that had snow, all four seasons, close to Canada but not too big of a city. I chose Cleveland, OH. I lived there for nine years before moving to the West Coast. I loved the fact that Ohio was pretty passionate about their Bucks. I even got to see the OSU vs Michigan series in the shoe. It was an absolute amazing experience.

Even though years have gone by, I still root for the Bucs except of course when they play LSU.

I’ve lived all of this country, but my fondest memories come from my time in NE Ohio.

I've always kinda liked Ole Miss. My Cousin's daughter (no pics) is a Freshman there, and I thought about going to Pharmacy School there about 30 years ago.

I was a big fan of Bobby Bowden growing up and also tended to root for them when they played because of Warrick Dunn

Washington Huskies (my aunt on dads side lived in Seattle and always sent Huskies post cards - never made it out to visit before she passed)
Southern California Trojans (see below)
Ohio State Buckeyes (mom is from Ohio and my uncle is a huge Buckeyes fan and so was my grandfather before he passed)
Oklahoma Sooners (uncle above graduated first in his class at OU Law - undergrad at Oral Roberts but still a Buckeye above all else self admittedly)

All are for family reasons except for Southern Cal - a good friend of mine I met studying at South Carolina was from there and a big joke in his family was he went to USC (not Southern Cal) and it always confused them all because they were a Southern Cal family. And since knowing him I have visited LA/Vegas a couple times and the only other stadium I’ve seen a college game in besides Williams-Brice and Vaught-Hemingway was a Southern Cal/Arizona game back in 2015 in The Coliseum almost 6 years to the day. Was awesome.
