It is what it is.

I don’t think any team is going to rush the ball for 150 yards against UGA.

Too much size in the middle and speed all over the field for UGA.

Try and tell me that you can't read his post as if he's White Goodman.

Obviously, but if you are gonna make points based on previous games, stats become relevant towards the discussion.

Ditto. It's cute when you try to be glib in the face of a little opposition to your petty rant. You're neither clever nor witty. Stop trying. It's sad and boorish.

I don’t give a shite about being clever or wity because my focus is football, which you are still refusing to discuss because you appear have no clue about the sport.

What are your thoughts on the following facts?

1. Scoring d rank: Clemson 2, Kentucky 19
2. Rushing o rank: Arkansas 10, Kentucky 23

Outside of Bama, i think Auburn had the best chance.
Jordan Davis had one of his lowest snap counts on the season (for as fast as Jordan is, he wouldnt be chasing down Nix). Auburn had the most talented backfield on our schedule as well (on top of Nix's mobility).

Auburns OL was suspect going into the game. But they outperformed expectations (a lot of which had to do with JD99 on the sidelines)

No offense but....you can say a lot about djs (we have had our differences in the past) but he does not rant. He is very concise and succinct with his posts. But you bemoan his lack of stats with his argument and then another Kentucky fan came right behind that post to say stats don't matter. So, in your mind....do they matter, or do they not matter?

That said, I expect a tough game Saturday and I am on record saying I expect a good, hard fought game.

I get that Kentucky is tired of not getting the respect they feel they deserve. I don't want to get in the middle fo all of this. I just makes no sense. If Georgia wins (Which is likely but not necessarily certain) a lot of Georgia fans are going to come looking for you to say "I told you so!" If Kentucky wins it will be just the opposite.

Why put yourself in the position of having to eat crow?
Talk football and be civil and congratulate the other team (win or lose) after the game. Georgia fans will think their team is the best and Kentucky fans will think their team is the best regardless of what a random fan says on here.

Loudness is all relative. Loud at UGA is different than at Kentucky just like it is at LSU and Auburn. Auburn has a great game day experience. Very loud and can be intimidating. TONS of energy. We all have different energy levels, too.

Dawgs have given up 3 TDs all season, 1 by starting defense. Kentucky’s gonna score 27?

Crowd noise shouldn't be a factor for Kentucky, we’ve played the last two home games in front of the loudest crowds in Commonwealth history

I know you UK fans are new at this, but you do realize that crowd noise away is different from crowd noise at home, right?

Am I the only one that is kind of turned off by the direction that this thread took? People are getting obnoxious and there's no reason for hostility over a damn game. For those saying that stats don't matter, you're wrong. For those saying only stats matter, you're wrong too. Stats matter to a degree because at this point in the season we should have realistic ideas as far as what to expect from our teams, but there will always be variables that you cannot predict with a stat sheet.

Kentucky has been inconsistent and I don't think that's going to change. Georgia has crushed everyone with a LOT of backups and a literal walk-on for a QB. I love my cats and I feel this game is going to be closer than what a lot of people are predicting, but there are too many things that would need to go right for Kentucky and go wrong for Georgia for Kentucky to win this as we are right now. Missing McCall and Oxendine is going to hurt in a major way. Rogers has really stepped up in a major way, but keep in mind that this isn't a typical game and his lack of experience could be a liability. I feel the model originally referenced will be fairly accurate with a score either way for either team. I don't think Georgia will cover, but there will be no doubt that they will be in control the entire game unless absolute chaos ensues.

At the end of the day, I've seen more arrogance coming from our base than we deserve to put out there. WE knew we would be a good team this year and that we were being slept on, however there's a massive difference between being proud and being arrogant. We can be proud of this team and what they've accomplished, but if the few people in our base on this forum keep being jackasses to everyone, the support we're getting from others will fade quickly. We all want to enjoy this ride and see where this team goes. Quit being douchers, be humble, and just have fun.

UK had 200 yards of total offense against UF. Where are the 27 points coming from? Georgia miscues? This UK offense is tailor made for the 2021 UGA defense.

I'm not sure what to think of computer models and such. I guess they take all factors into consideration if they're accurate, but UGA's starting defense has given up one TD all season. I don't know how many they'll give up to UK on Sat, but I don't think it will be many.

Kentucky and Georgia should ahve a nice respectful rivalry. I think a big part of this is some Georgia fans feel like we are being disrespected this season and some Kentucky fans feel they are being disrespected this season.

All we hear is the next team is the one that will beat us and we haven't played anybody. Arkansas fans and Auburn fans said this and now Kentucky fans are saying this.

Personally I think Kentucky is having a great year. Undefeated this late in the season? Impressive. I like it when Kentucky has big years, and I know you guys are too.

I think we both (fan bases) are just tired of perceived lack of respect.

Yeah, there's a reason the game is played. Both teams have played better than expected. Let's see what happens head-to-head.

I get that, but my problem is the lack of respect on our end is because historically we have been an awful team. We've been rapidly improving and people are sleeping on us still, but people in our base need to understand that after literal decades of 2-4 win seasons, national perception isn't going to change overnight.

As far as Georgia is concerned, you all just seem to channel your inner Kentucky at the worst possible time. Maybe with us getting better, you all won't Kentucky yourselves. I will admit that I'm kind of surprised that you all feel disrespected this year though, considering you've been ranked 1-3 all year. You should have been ranked above Bama sooner, but recency bias is a thing and it would have been the same for anyone else in your position until Bama lost.

IDK how many Kentucky fans are saying this in good faith. We aren't really any better resume-wise. We beat Florida, some of the worst east teams, and an LSU team with an identity crisis. I completely get where you're coming from with this narrative though, because for the past 5 years it's been "You lost to Kentucky? Your team must suck." It's never "Oh shite, they had a winning record and won post-season without a QB? The other parts of the team must be solid and just needing a few pieces."

Trust me, I get the disrespected feeling and I made a bitchy thread the other day because I thought we should be ahead of Michigan after their struggle win against Nebraska. That being said, it's not a good look when an up and coming team's base gets cocky. We don't want to be the UCF of the SEC. All it will do is make it sting that much more when the inevitable loss comes and if we turn other fanbases against us, they'll pile it on. If we can get to a decade or so of being relevant, that's a different story. However, 5 years of decent/good teams doesn't warrant arrogance, imo.
