All we hear is the next team is the one that will beat us and we haven't played anybody. Arkansas fans and Auburn fans said this and now Kentucky fans are saying this.

What UK fan has said you haven’t played anybody this season? I call BS on that one (at least in a halfway serious post).

CFB Nerds is a pretty solid channel. On par with late kick imo.

It starts with a kentucky fan saying they are the best defense we will face all season.

When stats entering the UGA game show Auburn slightly better (300 yards per game), Arkansas significantly better (260 yards per game), and South Carolina giving up 180 yards defensively per game... then the kentucky reply is that stats dont matter because we havent played anyone (because they aint undefeated kentucky).

I used to enjoy Late Kick, but he keeps throwing shade at Kentucky or just avoiding any sort of conversation about us. I can't tell if it's direspect or if he doesn't know how to analyze us

One of the CFB crew had Kentucky as a sleeper before the season started due to the returning players and transfers. Their model had UGA scoring 34 against auburn last week, which is fairly impressive given the outcome. It had auburn scoring 20, which I guess is possible if auburn didn’t have as many drops.

I questioned someone throwing Auburns stats out when they're obviously bloated by 60+ point games against Akron, Alabama State, an odd struggle against Georgia State and an LSU team thats likely headed for a coaching search. Obviously the Penn State game and the LSU game are quality matchups but Kentuckys schedule has had 4 SEC games.

Thats not saying Georgia hasn't played anyone and thats not saying Auburn is bad, it's simply saying comparing Kentuckys stats against an Auburn team that only played 2 BCS schools is in my opinion a bad comparison.

Is that not true?

Unless you play Alabama in the SECCG, statistically we will be the best defense you’ve faced all season. Rated higher than Clemson as well (who has played one less game).

That doesn’t mean you haven’t played anybody. Or claiming an outright win. But I don’t see where there’s a falsehood in claiming so far we’d be the best defense you’ll play. There’s literally stats to back that claim up.

Yeah, I dig the nerds and their analysis. Their model is a little flawed though. For some reason it doesn't seem to know how to handle certain teams.

Ya, their model has been off about UGA’s defense all year. Still, pretty impressive to nail a final score. The late kick model has done better calling the spread for UGA. Still, I think their model will be closer for UGA Kentucky since both teams like to run the ball.

How accurate was the model for Georgia @ Auburn?

I don’t give a shite about being clever or wity because my focus is football, which you are still refusing to discuss because you appear have no clue about the sport. What are your thoughts on the following facts? 1. Scoring d rank: Clemson 2, Kentucky 19 2. Rushing o rank: Arkansas 10, Kentucky 23

Kentucky is at 5.54 yards per rush. Arkansas is at 5.34. When you have more rushes, you’re going to have more yards. But Arkansas does not have a better rushing offense than KY. That’s just the facts

Believe it had it at Georgia 34 Auburn 20, so they got it half right.

Think their model had Georgia auburn 34-20. If their TE doesn’t drop that opening drive TD pass and they convert that fourth and goal, it would’ve been fairly close.

UK will need for Stetson to make some mistakes in the passing game in order for them to upset the Dawgs.

The Dawgs win 31- 14.

UK can't allow this loss to get them off focus for the rest of the season. The Cats have something good going IF they just forget the game one the way back home.

They ain't ready for this smoke at home. Just like Ark wasn't ready. Nice season Cats but it ends this weekend.
