Exactly, I was at both games and our crowd was too hype to shut up most times I swear ????. Obviously I know the noise is always a factor in an environment like that I’m just saying we should be able to handle it. And to the poster who said Arkansas run game is better than Kentucky’s…..No

Ok. What is your argument against the facts proving the point?

So you're saying your crowd is too stupid to let your offense work?

Think their model had Georgia auburn 34-20. If their TE doesn’t drop that opening drive TD pass and they convert that fourth and goal, it would’ve been fairly close.

If Auburn scored 20, UGA doesnt run the football 20 straight attempts in the 4th quarter against an 8 man box.

Trying to predict a score is more dependent upon the score at certain phases of the game than the actual skill and ability of the players/coaches.

You beat me to it.

Subtract Georgia and they have more yards per game, more yards per rush, and more rushing TDs per game.

Facing a team that can cut rushing success in half is going to effect rankings (i.e. better than)

Is that not true?

Unless you play Alabama in the SECCG, statistically we will be the best defense you’ve faced all season. Rated higher than Clemson as well (who has played one less game).

That doesn’t mean you haven’t played anybody. Or claiming an outright win. But I don’t see where there’s a falsehood in claiming so far we’d be the best defense you’ll play. There’s literally stats to back that claim up.

NCAA Total Defense Rankings

I literally replied to that link in another thread.

Kentucky is giving up 305 ypg.
4.609 ypp.
17.5 ppg

Auburn is giving up 322 ypg.
Prior to UGA, that was 300.2 ypg
Auburn is giving up 4.85 ypp
Prior to UGA, that was 4.56 ypp
Auburn is giving up 19.1 ppg
Prior to UGA, that was 16.2

In the week leading up to UGA, Arkansas had an even better defense than Auburn.
And so on. And so on.
UGA has literally heard about how each week's opponent is the best defense and best rushing attack for 3 weeks now.

I’d argue we’ve played more games and more SEC games at this point that lends to a better statistical gauge of where we’re at defensively.

Either way we’ll see how it goes on Saturday.

You made a claim using the word literally.
quote:

There’s literally stats to back that claim up.

I have now literally countered you each time with the same argument.

And your rebuttal?
quote:

we’ve played more games and more SEC games

Everyone has played 6 games. What does that even mean?

Auburn played #7 penn st in happy valley.
Arkansas played #25 Texas.
Your out of conference consists of La Monroe & Chattanooga (5 point win?).
Those teams are putting up better defensive efforts against better opponents than you (when you subtract UGA from their stats).
I dont think you even know what your point is anymore.

Good luck Saturday.

It seems going 5-0 against bottom of the barrel competition, and then 1-0 in the "how the frick is Florida's win streak in KY still going?" bowl has got them feeling froggy. (Kentucky's SOS is fricking #68 for crying out loud, UGA is #8. According to Guru)

"Georgia doesn't respect us!!!"

You're fricking right we don't. Dawgs by 40.

The model equates 16 as basically 0 because it’s almost statistically impossible to give an accurate prediction below that number as they explain in the computational process.

If you notice they give predictions alongside the computer.

That’s coach don for ya. Has he always acted like this, or is this #11 rank gotten to his head? I don’t remember him from the 2018 talks

Kentucky is at 5.54 yards per rush. Arkansas is at 5.34. When you have more rushes, you’re going to have more yards. But Arkansas does not have a better rushing offense than KY. That’s just the facts

It’s a bit unfair to include the uga stats for Arkansas, dont ya think? We skewed their stats.
