What’re they basing this off? I assume it’s FPI because it’s ESPN and FPI is god awful.

Not sure how accurate this is. It said Georgia could lose to Florida and Bama and still have 70% chance of making the playoff

This is pretty cool.
Alabama still has a 99% chance of making the playoff with one loss if they still win the SEC title game. That's pretty obvious.
Interestingly, if Ole Miss loses only to Alabama and does not make the SECCG, they still have a 61% of making the playoff.

It’s a pretty cool tool, but maybe could use a bit of tweaking. For example, if we lose to Florida and Georgia Tech, and then lose to Alabama in the SECCG, it says we still have a 15% chance of making the playoffs. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that, in the scenario I’ve described, it would actually be 0%.

It said Bama has a 90 percent chance of getting in if the lose to Ole Miss and don't make sec championship game.

Apparently the playoff predictor thinks Arky has less than a 4% chance. That’s why they aren’t listed.
