Looking back at this play it was a HUGE back breaker. He was about to run for 45+.

No and those all made me question Nix arm strength overall. But a ball landing out of bounds doesn’t automatically mean it’s uncatchable. These people are six feet tall and the ball is thrown at a 45 degree angle.. lol

That's the first time I've seen that angle. My goodness.

Side note: I would literally change my team allegiance if I had to listen to that guy's voice every Saturday. That is literally unbearable.

Seeing the highlights from the camera angle really shows how poorly and inaccurate Bo was on several throws. Ooof

And still keying on one receiver.

That would’ve taken a top sports center play of the year to readjust the route just to catch the ball assuming it could’ve possibly been caught. That means it’s a poorly thrown ball. I don’t even know if a “go get it” type receiver like Tyler Lockett could’ve made the adjustment.

Oh, no doubt it was a poorly thrown ball. But I think there are some SEC receivers who could have made the catch

No SEC WR would have caught that ball based on the route they were running like Robertson was.

When a WR is expecting to see the ball coming to them from the right side of his sightline as he streaks down the left side, and the ball is thrown so high that the WR can't track it (and us fans watching it on tv never see the ball until a dark obhect lands 3 ft outside the line at about the 5 yd line and the WR is standing in the EZ still looking)

...then no...it was never a ball any WR could adjust to. Not even in Harold Carmichael's day(am I dating myself?).

Clearly that was a busted play, and was intended to be a pass. But he did have a whole bunch of green in front of him when he reversed direction.

The gloves?

I know they help when catching, but could they have played some role in the fumble?

Ever tried to make that throw?

I thought not.

You saw that too, hurts all over again, if its and buts were.... I think he got excited when he saw how wide open the field was after seeing the original pass play blocked...and forgot the ball.

Thats a great angle to show how wide open it was.

Yep it was like when the PSU defender dropped the interception in his hands because he was so excited about scoring the td and forgot to actually catch it.

Settle down son, we’re not a 5 star 3 year starter either. Should be some higher expectations put upon Bo, no? It was mostly his long throws.

Is your name Patrick?

Aren’t you the one that claimed it was a perfect throw in the corner of the end zone?

Oops sorry, didn’t mean to be so rude. I’m still a work in progress, my apologies.

At 20:23 did anybody notice how open Tank was? If Nix throws it to him he scores.

You're right. That explains why Tank was upset. He was as good as in.

More like human behavior. Seeing success and immediately reacting in fear.

Like missing a wide open layup or the 1 foot putt under pressure. Hudson lost control of the ball bc it was too easy and he was afraid to screw it up

You talking about the 4th down?

Actually, since Tank was behind the LOS and moving to the left, he was always going to be open. :)

But since Bo was going to have to throw it quick since he chose passing to Hudson in the corner, he had no clue if Tank was going to be open.

If Bo chose to throw to Tank, there were defenders on that side of the ball, so Bo was going to have to break a tackle. Now I will bet on Tank one and one with any DB.
