Wow! That home and home thing is a great idea you guys came up with. Maybe others will follow.

So much better for season ticket holders... especially if they go to a 9 game conference schedule.
The neutral sites gave us some marquee matchups that Bama obviously dominated, but college football is best when played on college campuses.

I don't think anyone is saying we came up with it. The opposite, actually.

Should we start a new thread about how Ole Miss fans never show up to this game?

I hate neutral site openers

I think the payout WAS worth it for schools early. The problem for teams was the opponent had all summer and spring to prep for a team. Saban rarely loses given 5 weeks to prepare. Give him 2 or less and it's a more even game.

It was smart football. BAMA had the player's full attention in those summer months. Now, what are they saying about BAMA this week? Oh, they're in mid-season form, a well-oiled machine. Coach Saban is the motivator.

Half those games won't end up being played due to future conference realignment etc.

Right now - great OOC schedule
6 years from now, when both happen to have a bad season?
"Alabama only schedules patsies!"

I think that is awesome. Personally I would be much more excited to make a weekend of it in Fayetteville rather than Arlington. Went see Ags at Arky and we had a great time. Super game day experience with Hog fans.
If I want a shitty game day experience I can buy tickets to an NFL game.

I really enjoyed the neutral site games at first but they've gotten a little stale at this point. I'm pumped for the home and homes and the opportunity to see Alabama (and other) teams play in big time stadiums around the country.

Don't know why ADs keep signing up their teams to get embarrassed on national TV.

10 points is less than 2 scores so there is a single scoring play in College Football worth 10 points?

Another statistic the ACC is 1-12 in these Chick fil a kickoff games so far

Clearly meant less than 3 scores

LSU's "home and home" with Wisconsin was something of a letdown. That was a chance to have two games at two of the best game day experiences in the country. That said, the environment at Lambeau Field was pretty awesome. I've give it up for Wisconsin fans....they go toe to toe with anyone when it comes to drinking / tailgating.

On a side note, that was amazing that USC ended up at #3 after the arse-whipping game 1. They actually turned out to be a decent team that year.
