Best receiver.... LOL... He is good but there are at least a half dozen out there better beginning with Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, both 1st team All Americans by most sources.

Kind of wild that Burks is ranked 3rd - 4th by most publications (two Ohio State guys then Clemson) and not another SEC WR ranked until 10 in Metchie.

If you had any idea what you were talking about you wouldn't be laughing at the idea. Burks is an absolute freak of an athlete. He will probably be a 1st rounder on potential regardless of his stats this season.

After last year I’m sure you could name several people. I’d understand if State stopped following football under Leach though.

A lot of outlets also had Pickens ahead of him on these preseason things before he got hurt despite Burks having a much better year last season.
Favoritism for the bigger programs is always annoying when it comes to individual accolades. Burks has a size/speed combination that you rarely see and 5x sized gloves. Dude is going to make a lot of money in the NFL.

I mean I posted two links above that have Boutte ranked equal to or ahead of Burks.
Boutte is not draft eligible, only a soph, so I'm not arguing that Burks will or won't be the first WR taken from the SEC next year.

That’s AA teams not rankings.
Obviously Bama and other teams have better QBs so their WRs will be ranked higher on AA list

You guys beat us by 4 points last year when we were missing 9 defensive linemen 
I fully expect to beat LSU this year. The ogre will be looked at in later year as gene chizik 2.0. A guy that caught lightning in a bottle for one season due to an elite qb and game changing coordinator.

OK, I found a third ranking of wide receivers. This one has Burks as the fourth-best WR prospect from the SEC
