We all know pods are gay and divisions are unworkable with 16 teams. There are two models that work:

1. Three permanent opponents, six rotating opponents. 9 conference games, everyone plays home and away every 4 years at most, up to three rivalries are protected.

2. Five permanent opponents, five rotating opponents. 10 conference games, everyone plays home and away every 4 years at most, up to five rivalries are protected.

Crowdsourcing this is easy. Just indicate:

1. Your favorite team
2. Your five most preferred permanent opponents, ranked in order
3. Whether you’d rather the 3+6 or 5+5 model

Example:

Favorite Team: LSU
Preferred Opponents: (1) Texas A&M, (2) Florida, (3) Alabama, (4) Ole Miss, (5) Arkansas
Preferred Model: 5+5

I’m pretty sure if we get enough entries, we could make a schedule that everyone would be excited for, and we could do away with this silly nonsense about pods or divisions or whatever.

Whatever it takes to get 10 conference games.
I'm done with shitty non conference payout games.

I want LSU and Ark every year. I would be fine playing the sips too, but not a priority.

I also want a setup where we don't go more than 4 years without playing a league team.

Somebody get working on that.

Not reading any of these ideas about schedules. Give me Bama, UGA, Gator and 10RC for Auburn or I reject your expansion. Would love to keep LSU, but they are first man out. Straight don't care about playing the newbies. Leave us out until we play them in ATL.

1. Obvious
2. UTk; AU; MSU; LSU; don't care but wouldn't mind a new E-W rivalry with OU or the real UT
3. I'd rather a 4+6 model. 3 Pod teams+1 perm rival+6 rotating teams

The only viable pod options are what either I’ve proposed or, forgive me, dudebro has proposed. Both have six perms. Either rotate the last three on a nine game conference schedule where each team plays one per pod or you pair pods and basically have rotating divisions.

UGA

I like the 3/6 plan, so we can keep GA Tech and still have room on the schedule for one or two more P5 games every year

Must keep - UF & AU

SC, KY, MS if we do 5, any of those for #3

This is my suggestion on 3 games for everyone:

Alabama - AU, MS St, TN
Arkansas - OK, TX, SC
Auburn - AL, FL, GA
Florida - AU, GA, LSU
Georgia - AU, FL, SC
Kentucky - MS St, TN, Vandy
LSU - FL, MS, aTm
Ole Miss- LSU, MS St, Vandy
MS State - AL, KY, MS
Mizzou - OK, SC, aTm
Oklahoma - AR, MO, TX
the real USC - AR, GA, MO
Tennessee - AL, KY, Vandy
Texas (w)hor(e)ns - AR, OK, aTm
Texas Aggies - LSU, MO, TX
Vandy - KY, MS, TN

I prefer a 6-3 model. Keeps all rivalries annually, play everybody in 3 years, full H/A in 6, & NO TIE-BREAKERS needed.

1. My team = Auburn

2. Preferred permanent opponents = Alabama and Georgia. After those two, I am pretty flexible:Florida would be kind of cool, but that is a tough 3 permanent opponents. We have played Miss State second most, so maybe them. Tenn or Ole Miss also acceptable.

3. 3+6: After Bama and UGA, I want to rotate through the league as quickly as possible.

It is ironic that you call the pod system gay and give option 1 as a viable format, when in fact your option 1 is the ACTUAL pod system
