That’s a good point… I knew that as well as it makes the most sense. I guess “getting back to normal” will also change menu’s as well? Hey… looking forward with the velcro mask that allow straws and popcorn shrimp only. Exciting times!

Fallout from the pandemic I guess and it impacts other businesses as well.

My gym is no longer a 24 hour gym although it has returned to having reasonable hours. I doubt it ever returns to being a 24 hour gym.

Waffle House is finally back to at least late night hours but from time to time you will see a section roped off because there aren’t enough waiters to service the customers. And customers are still willing to wait for a table.

One of the local Starbucks stores has been wildly inconsistent with supplies running low or out, certain services unavailable such as order ahead and even the drive-thru was closed the other day. They seem to have plenty of workers and customer demand is crazy at that store.

Even Wal Mart is closing by about 10:30 I believe and this particular store was a 24 hour store.

We get all that. The issue is why?

Well, depending on where you are vacating that could be normal, shite for brains.

For example, If you're on Hilton Head Island good luck finding something open post 9. It's always been like that.

All the restaurants near me in Metro Atlanta are open until 11-12 and nothing is closing at 8-9.

What a shite thread.

You're claiming things are closing early and I literally named a place where they aren't. If you're vacationing the chances are shite is closing early because you're in a vacation town.

Hard concept to grasp, "Brah."

We were down in the port saint joe area last week and the disappointment wasn’t how late they stayed open having a 7 yr old and 7 month old in the group, but the 2-3 hour wait times for a table.

They are. Walmart used to be open 24 hours. Now they close at 11. Plenty of restaurants in Jacksonville are closing earlier than they used to. You're being a dick for the sake of being a dick but I guess that's pretty on brand for you.

At least half of the peasantry is dead broke, and the rest are facing rising prices. If ya gots nothing to spend, ya can't buy anything, regardless of when businesses are or aren't open.

I was unaware that Walmarts were open 24 hours. Must be a lot of poors in your area.

Atlanta Airport still has many restaurants either not open or closing early. The airport is packed too. The catering companies are also short staffed. It is very much happening all over ATL.

The last three mornings I went through Latoya International it was a showcase of lack of ability to find workers. Half the restaurants still closed, a cattle coral built for the massive screening lines, and the cheap airlines way backed up with lack of desk support.

They finally opened the airport Park n Ride back up.

I haven't seen it as bad at a few other airports.

Thank god for Pre-check or I would have missed at least two flights.

Is the logic here that the South has Walmarts everywhere and the North has none, and by that reasoning I must live in the North to not be near a Walmart? Or is it that Yankees are the only people capable of making enough money to afford homes in non-shithole zip codes without Walmarts? Please clarify.

So you are just an elitist liberal prick. That's your fallback argument here.

I guess I should have made my sarcasm explicit. I don’t actually give a shite about shopping or not shopping at Walmart. I simply find it hypocritical that with all the fetishizing about making money and being financially successful that conservatives do, you have managed to find a carve-out for liberals who are wealthy or financially successful, and brand them as “elites” or that somehow they didn’t earn their money the same way as you “real Americans.” I know several rich conservatives who would spit on anyone who said they shopped at Walmart.

There's no logic. I'm being a dick, just like you. You know good and well Walmart used to be open 24/7. Everyone does. You're the jackass that said I lived in a poor neighborhood.
