Alabama hasn't lost to a team from the SEC East in a decade (since 10-17-10 loss @ South Carolina) 11-0 vs Tennessee 5-0 vs Florida 5-0 vs Georgia 4-0 vs Missouri 3-0 vs Kentucky 2-0 vs Vanderbilt 1-0 vs South Carolina

This Bama dynasty has been glorious. No other team in the SEC will ever experience dominance like this. And, this is our 2nd time doing it

So all we have to do next year to keep that going is beat y’all, Auburn, State, and A&M

Consider this. Bama lost a lot of talent on offense. I mean a Heisman winner and two other contenders. An award-winning center and so forth. But Saban is the best recruiter so we have talent coming in, I get that. But we just lost the best play-caller I have ever seen in T-town. Just saying, don't yield to a losing streak until it actually happens, is all.

State vs the SEC East since it's inception in 1992:
Kentucky(permanent rival) 18-11
Florida 4-5
Georgia 1-6
South Carolina 7-9
Tennessee 2-7
Vanderbilt 7-1
Missouri 2-0
State is 41-39 against the East. Much better than we are against the West.

it's interesting that the only SECE team on a current win streak against LSU is Mizzou.... at one game.

Freaking Mizzou is our kryptonite!

Who are those 8 losses? I can point to the LSU loss to Mizzou and the UF loss at home on the goal line debacle.... but from that point, I'm lost.

LSU has only 4

The two you mentioned, Metts loss to UGA, and Burrows loss to UF

A&M lost its very first SEC games to UF in 2012 when Muschamp won like 12 games. We also lost to Mizzou twice when they won their division. Finally, to UGA 2 years ago when they got a bunch of favorable calls.

LSU and South Carolina have played 22 times, South Carolina won 7-6 in 1930, its still the record for the Gamecocks' largest margin of victory in the series.

That is amazing.

And I like South Carolina.

Alabama has played Missouri 4 times since expansion 2012. Alabama has played South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vandy 5 total times combined since expansion in 2012.

But ATM wouldn’t be considered a big game so UGA would handle.

The problem is Georgia chokes with a loaded roster. On paper you guys should be the clear favorites to win it period. You guys have Bama talent that are getting you Aggie type results. And we don’t exactly suck vs the East. There is no reason on earth a JT Daniels led offense shouldn’t score less than 40 a game, with a defense full of 5/4 stars, but they might lose to a Clemson, Florida, Mizzou, who knows.

You can’t be serious? How many playoff and national championship games has Aggie played in?

Aggie type results meaning they still disappoint like we do

So then Aggie type results are similar to Vandy type results? Fact is we regularly play for SECC, you don’t. We occasionally win them, you don’t. We play in major bowls every year, you don’t.

The reason is that as often as we might “choke”, you “choke” even more often…despite playing in less “big games”.

...Gamecocks set the bar so high in 1930 we could only match that margin in the 1994 Monsoon Game at Death Valley.

There are actually 9 losses:

Florida over Texas A&M in 2012 (20 to 17)
Florida over LSU in 2012 (14 to 6)
Georgia over LSU in 2013 (44 to 41)
Missouri over Texas A&M in 2013 (28 to 21)
Missouri over Texas A&M in 2014 (34 to 27)
Florida over LSU in 2016 (16 to 10)
Florida over LSU in 2018 (27 to 19)
Georgia over Texas A&M in 2019 (19 to 13)
Missouri over LSU in 2020 (45 to 41)

All 9 losses came against the Big 3 of the East.

Florida x4
Missouri x3
Georgia x2
