She isn’t smart. No one that’s ever heard her talk could presume that. But she still shouldn’t lose her spot because of weed. It enhances nothing.

Then get the rule changed. Don't break the rule and then say it is a stupid rule after the fact. Why is she taking drugs when she is in training? This is her livelihood.

The rule is definitely ridiculous, but she’s a major dumbass for knowing the rule and choosing to violate it for whatever the reason.

She’s actually a perfect example of the younger generation these days.
Generational wealth was on the table for her this summer, yet she chose to smoke weed instead and lost it.
I don’t know if there’s a more simple rule than not smoking weed. They should keep it forever, because it reveals the dumbasses who choose a short temporary high over long term financial security.

There’s more to being an elite athlete than athleticism. Self-discipline is a critical characteristic. It’s also the most important aspect of being a role model for younger athletes. She’s a bad role model.
Society has rules and all citizens are bound to follow them or work to change them. Those are the only two options.

It’s kind of hard to preach personal accountability then cry foul when someone is made personally accountable.

I know LSU compliance has been tough on our players, but given y’all had this rule y’all would be bitching and moaning about all the players lost because its a stupid rule.

Star college football players do the same thing. 99% of them are the same demographic as her
There is a reason so many can’t get out of poverty and it directly correlates to poor decision making

Smoking weed isnt a very “poor” decision health wise tho. What she did was MUCH safer and better for her than alcohol. That’s why it’s so frustrating and that’s why athletes are attracted to it. Weed wont hinder her abilities long term like alcohol will

The only reason weed gets a bad rep is because it gets pounded in our heads at a very young age that weed is bad. It really isn't any different than alcohol.
