1) Tim Corbin Vanderbilt
2) Chris Lemonis Mississippi State
3) Dave Van Horn Arkansas
4) Schlossnagle Texas A&M
5) Tony Villeto Tennessee
6) Kevin O'Sullivan Florida
7) Mike Bianco Ole Miss
8) Mark Kingston South Carolina
9) Scott Stricklin Georgia
10) Brad Bohannon Alabama
11) Butch Thompson Auburn
12) Nick Mingione Kentucky
13) Steve Bieser Missouri

Might receive some heat from Florida fans, but I think 1-5 would have very similar success in that talent pool.

Currently, hard to argue. Historically, it’s a bit off.

Not sure how the State coach can be ahead of DVH.

Two college World Series and that’s it. Counting this year.

He didn’t even recruit States best player.
Also Dave swept him this year. Sure Arkansas blew their super regional but when two pitchers went down we knew we weren’t winning it all

Butch should be higher than Bo. Already been to a Super and CWS along with another NCAAT.

I'd have Butch above Kingston and Sticklin. Probably have Bo ahead of Stricklin. He's been at UGA for 7 seasons and been to 2 NCAATs. Never gotten out of the regionals.

I was being a smart arse, but I agree that DVH is probably still above, but it’s not that far of a gap in my opinion. Lemonis has been to Omaha every year he’s been at State and likely would’ve gone last year too in the COVID year. He’s right up there with Corbin and DVH.

I’d also have the TN coach ahead of States.

State was already good before their current coach. Most of their own fans were hating him before their Super regional and I’m sure will once he goes 0-2 in Omaha.

TN coach had to build that program from scratch and it’s recruiting at a high level with little resources. Plus he was on some great teams as an assistant coach

Need to see who Schossnagle's assistants are before properly placing him on the list.

Tier 1 - Basically have a summer home in Omaha.
Tim Corbin Vanderbilt
Kevin O'Sullivan Florida

Tier 2 - Elite, but need a shiny gold ring to go along with their long resumes
Dave Van Horn Arkansas
Schlossnagle Texas A&M

Tier 3 - Up and comers. Keep doing it longer and you'll move up. Stop and you'll go down to tier 4/5.
Chris Lemonis Mississippi State
Tony Villeto Tennessee
Butch Thompson Auburn

Tier 4 - Good to very good, but missing something.
Mike Bianco Ole Miss
Scott Stricklin Georgia

Tier 5 - quickly building toward tier 4.
Mark Kingston South Carolina

Tier 6 - never really done much
Brad Bohannon Alabama
Nick Mingione Kentucky
Steve Bieser Missouri

Kind of hard to have that as a knock on Lemonis. You would expect an older player to be better than a freshman

I'd put Bo in Tier 5. He took over a program that was one of the worst in the P5 and they've gotten better every year and snuck into the NCAAT this year without their 2 best starting pitchers.

Missouri and Kentucky have shown no signs of improvement under Bieser or Mingione (Kentucky has gotten worse).

As I suspected, you’re just a troll. You’ve had it out for State all season.

By history that’s a good list. By current events, it’s basically as follows:
Corbin
DVH/Lemonis/Vitello
Schlossnagle
O’Sullivan
Bianco

The rest

Polk had been gone a decade when Lemonis got there, but they were still a very good program.
