There seems to be this assumption that Florida Baseball is just some sort of well oiled machine that has always won and will always win.

Florida pre-Sully - 5 CWS Appearances (1 from 1999 to 2007)
Florida with Sully - 8 CWS Appearances (14 seasons)

I mean I get it - these things are hard. A lot of great coaches and coaches accomplishments from 8 years ago aren't always applicable to today.

He’s coached north of 1100 games as a head coach.

Are you irrational because he switched teams/conferences? Would Saban not be the best coach in the PAC 12 if he took over at Utah tomorrow? Would he need to prove himself there first?
