Fixed for accuracy.

Smokeyone, we know you missed the playoff win over ou that involved amazing half time adjustments.

Did you actually watch that game? Those 2 3rd qrt TDs off long runs were not the product of adjustments.

Kirby was also dealt a better hand in year one than 99% of coaches. It's not every day a coach takes over a program that fired a coach who went 10-3 the previous two seasons. Not to mention being in the middle of one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in America, possibky the best all things considered. WHat do you think that record looks like if he took over a program like Tennessee?

Kirby got extremely lucky to get the UGA gig when UT and Florida were down. His journey in the East has been relatively easy. The state of Georgia is rich with instate talent and recruiting has always been good for UGA. When the competition rises in the EAST Kirby's win/loss record will suffer and his weaknesses as a Head Coach will become more obvious and problematic for current UGA fans to defend.

In-game is Kirby's major weakness. He's just not the Field General in charge he should be - and he never will be. He's more a coordinator/position coach. He's not the HMFIC kind of coach.

All the Tide folks need to get off Kirby's arse and focus on the folks that envy and despise The Tide.

How could you know that already?
You realize there’s still a learning curve for a job like that?

Lots of talent, not real bright, crooked as Mississippi River, not a real hard worker, overpaid, underachiever.

He is the Arik Gilbert of Coaches.

What?

He inherited one of the worst senior classes in modern history.ONE player got drafted off his first team and that was Jr kick returner drafted in the 6th round.

10-3 the previous two seasons

The '15 wasn't even a top 25 team and almost lost to Georgia Southern in double OT

Stop what? The game is over had that not blown the non offside penalty on the blocked punt

He inherited

Sony Michel
Nick Chubb
Roquan Smith
Isaiah Wynn
Deandre Baker

So 10-3, like I said

Like I said, stop. You’re blaming a call at the start of the second half for losing a game and completely ignoring the fact Alabama’s backup freshman QB beat you. Get over it and stop making excuses and blaming refs. It’s pathetic

Maybe having more than one drive where your offense crossed the 50 in the second half would have produced a different outcome or maybe don’t allow 20 second half points, but yeah let’s blame an offsides call

Who was the HC the last 8 games of the season?

I'm well aware Miles got fired but you're either a HC or not a HC and those 8 games as a HEAD COACH were undoubtedly value experience for O.

See yes,he's been LSU's HC since 2016.

This was your quote:

quote:

Kirby was also dealt a better hand in year one than 99% of coaches

Who had less players drafted off their 1st and FIRST year and ZERO seniors drafted?

Hell,O inherited TWO 2nd ranked classes.

quote:

So 10-3, like I said

Right.A team that didn't crack the top 25 and was crushed by both of the ranked teams they played and comparing em to the '14 team is beyond absurd.

quote:

Get over it and stop making excuses and blaming refs. It’s pathetic

LMAO! Georgia goes up by at least 16 points probably 20 with the blocked punt and it's completely different game. The non call was 10 to 14 point swing. A few more bad calls for you.

LSU fans would be melting all over this board had the same happened vs Bama.

Very misleading as this implies the team was good.
