Absolutely are not good. My seat selection was Monday and dropped my total down to just 4 tickets. Was curious last night and logged on to look at how many were still available. There are tons of great seats still available for purchase and single game tix should have plenty of options for those wanting.

I figured sales would benefit from Pittman showing promise...but I guess many a folk purchased large TVs the last year and would rather stay home.

A decade of terrible football plus the costs of going to these games will leave many staying home.

Ticket prices going up, gas prices going up, hotels getting more expensive it is barely affordable for a middle class family to attend any major D1 football game anymore. Factor in concessions and parking and souvenirs if you have kids, you're looking at dropping a fat sack of change.

I think a lot of places, us included, have over built the demand. We might want to consider reducing the total number of seats and making the seating more comfortable.

I’ve been saying this for years, no reason to really build bigger and bigger. Better for sure, but I think with every game being available through an APP has killed the allure to go to games live.

No real reason to have the upper upper seats.

But I thought NWA could sustain them without any help?

Looks like NWA is a bunch of fair weather fans who don't really care about the university and just want games there for convenience.

Really though, why would anyone who dropped season tickets during the shite times start donating again for this year. They can just pick up way better tickets the week of and not donate a dime or be locked into games they can't go to.

I'm sure people invested the money they didn't use on tickets the last couple of years on better home theaters for games too. Especially so after covid.

If we do well this year people will start donating again to lock in season seats.

I was a season ticket holder for 10 years starting in 06. Went to 1 game in 16, sold the rest. I sat down one day and added up what all a season of tickets cost me. It was massively depressing. Donation, tickets, gas, food/tailgating, hotels, concessions... It was a little over 10k a year. That was just when I went to home games. There was a stretch of 2 seasons that I didn't miss any game, anywhere. I spent probably 150k over those ten years between football, basketball, and baseball. I still kick myself for not getting out sooner. It was a drug for me, but bless Bert he cured me.

There's just really no appeal for most anymore to go to games like Rice and Georgia Southern, and even when we play teams like Alabama at home no one wants to go see us lose by 40. So that only leaves 2-3 games in Fayetteville per year that are worth going to. Not worth buying season tickets for IMO.

The mini plans are a smart idea though and better value if they keep doing them like they have been lately. You can pick your own games without having to commit to all of them. I still have a blast at games but going to every single one is a lot.

$250 a pop for upper deck vs Texas is a turn off. Easier to fire up the big flat screen and grill at home

I had season tickets for almost 20 years. Started off with just 2 and no donation and have added seats and increased my donations over the years. Probably spent around $7k on 5 season tickets in 2019. At this point in my life that's not a lot of money for me, but at some point you just feel stupid wasting money on season tickets.

2020 renewal time rolls around and we just went the cheap route on hiring a head coach plus covid was blowing up. I elected not to renew. I assumed the season would be cancelled anyway.

For this year I was on the fence but decided to renew. I log on and don't see my seats. Ticket people said they were gone but could give me significantly worse seats that weren't even together. Made my decision easy.

I assumed sales must be going great for them to not really make and effort to make me happy. Whatevs. There's always tickets available on the secondary market for games I really want to go to.

no such thing. Drop the fricking price and I’ll go. I’m not spending 600. Bucks for nose bleed seats when my first baby is on the way this fall. Could I afford it sure but I’d rather have that money in case of a rainy day and watch it on my 72’ 4K tv. With TVs getting better the game day experience has to either get better or adjust the price

The last few games I've gone to have absolutely sucked arse from an experience stand point.

Fans were crap, team was crap, the whole thing was just garbage.

The football program will need a Petrino type run to ever get back to any sort of passionate level.

I’ll be there as usual. If you need someone to come drink a beer at your tailgate, let me know.

the fans have been ignored on this seating issue for years now - completely ignored

also, regardless of your opinion of Pittboss (and I love him), it's still a fact that the PTB's stuck their fingers in Hunter's dealings and didn't let him do his job. And as usual they got Hog Radio and Wally to run propaganda for them on that every fricking day during the coaching search. THAT HAS NOT CHANGED.

Yes, Hunter wanted Lane Kiffin, Kiffin wanted Arkansas, and I wanted whatever Hunter wanted, his first choice. He landed fine with Pittboss, but we will see if that comes back to bite us at some point. It's a moot point about who I want or you want, Hunter should not have been interfered with.

I’d get rid of the upper deck and find a way to get a tailgate atmosphere in the game in an area. Like the Pig Pen.

I just don’t see 80k coming when a 4K TV is cheap and you can drink at home.
