why do NFL teams fall in love with guys like Mac Jones?

He's a good player, there's no denying that. But how many QBs would be great in that system with the players around him? Probably a lot. Most of his highlights are really just his WRs & RBs wide open or those guys making ridiculous catches. If he played anywhere but bama he would've been Jake Fromm.

He absolutely lit up college football last season. It wasn't a flukey game here and there, it was EVERY SINGLE GAME. Missing his 2nd best receiver from the middle of October on, mind you. Dude is a great QB.

The biggest concern is he never faced a pass rush. Qb’s accuracy tends to go down after getting planted in the dirt a couple of times.

Just finished a 13 min video of his highlights. His WRs were wide open or they bailed him out with great catches

The fact is that he was great in the system.
What exactly did he do to prove to you that he wasn't a great QB?
What else is he supposed to do?

Not even close.Mac has a much better pocket presence,sees the field better and is much more accurate on deep passes.

LOL! Dude if he didn’t put the ball in a perfect spot, they don’t have a chance to catch those. Some of his high points to DeVonta are insane.
