He’s a stiff non athlete who can throw it pretty good. He will be Brodie Crowell at best.

An actual quote I heard today:
quote:

Anxiety is high in the Bay Area as 49ers fans fear Mac Jones could be the pick at #3”

Dude, you've already locked up the Tries Too Hard Award. No need to try and garner more votes.

He's a good player, there's no denying that. But how many QBs would be great in that system with the players around him? Probably a lot. Most of his highlights are really just his WRs & RBs wide open or those guys making ridiculous catches. If he played anywhere but bama he would've been Jake Fromm.

You mean the same system and same guys that Tua played with ....PLUS tua had juedy and ruggs? That situation and Bama didn't win Jack shite? Mac just put together the best season by a college qb, won the national title. Did what great ones do. All you younguns want a teddy Bridgewater type. Give me a Tom Brady all day long.

Agree. Would take Trey Lance or Zach Wilson over him in a heartbeat.

Looks like you need to call the greatest NFL coach in history and tell him he just fricked up.

Just finished a 13 min video of his highlights. His WRs were wide open or they bailed him out with great catches

Mac Jones has a high football IQ. His accuracy his also elite, although his arm strength is average. In the right place, he could do some damage, and I'm interested to follow him in NE.

I hate NE with the passion of a burning sun though.

I really don’t think you could’ve put Tyson in last year and had the same results. Mac is a really good QB and showed it

Why would this not apply to Burrow as well? JB has a great system, great WRs, A very good RB, an OL that won the Moore award And had guys running wide open All the time. Does that diminish his talent?

Mac was an absolute assassin all year.
