I mean I know we were #25 and they were #5 going into last weekend so it's a massive jump to suddenly vault us ahead of them... but if you're going to make it that close you might as well right?
ETA: Apparently Baseball America and D1 do.

You have a template made up for this or are you typing it all up from scratch every time?

I copy and paste the previous thread and make necessary changes

Either way it's a lot of work. Thanks for doing this.

Stricklin still out with COVID, 8th straight game he will have missed.
Guess we will see how our pitching by committee works tonight

They really need to look into making this a three Tuesday series, with one in each park and then a third in Round Rock, or Corpus Christi or San Antonio or something. Too good of a mid-week atmosphere to only play once. Still always an exciting game though.
All regular season games have been decided by 1 run other than 2019, and that was a 1-run affair until the top of the 9th

Big time.

Those locations make no sense. If there was a 3rd game it would need to be in Houston/Sugar Land or Frisco/Arlington.

We have done this with Georgia Tech for years in Athens, Atlanta, and Turner Field/Truist Park.
Finally moved it to a SC/Clemson weekend arrangement and I honestly love the weekend set up a lot more. Rivals should throw their best arms against each other, period.

Fair point. But in the Tuesday format, Texas and A&M can still save some room on the schedule for out-of-conference foes from california or other conferences and the round-robin weekends like Minute Maid or the showdown at the beginning of this season that had 3 big 12 teams vs. 3 SEC teams.
Plus, I don't think Texas and A&M would have any problem sacrificing two more of their games against Incarnate Word, Lamar, TAMU-Corpus Christi or any of those other mid-week tune ups in order to play each other two more times.

A&M scheduling has a pretty consistent scheduling system under RC.
1 West Coast Trip every other year.
1 Local Tourney every other year.
2 Soft weekend opponents
Midweek games vs almost every small program in Texas maybe 1 or 2 from LA.
Alternating Home/Home with Rice, Houston, & tu.
Things could change under a new coach, but this is a pretty smart way of doing things. If we sacrifice a match up with A&M-CC, ABU, or UTSA for 2 more games vs tu, then great. Shouldn't be an issue.

Mizzou, you need to step your game up. Kansas shouldn't be better at anything.

Good to see that Arkansas has done away with the "Broyles Rule" regarding not playing in-state universities.
As an LSU fan, I always thought that scheduling Northwestern St., Tulane, UNO, Tech and Nichols in baseball helped make them better programs over the years.

That Alabama can go 1-5 to start the SEC and still be ranked in the top 40 is a testament to the ridiculous SOS.
Which explains why in the RPI Alabama is still #15. It's been a brutal road.

Can't see you down there at #2 Tennessee. Suck it

I like that we made it into a weekend series, hate the home-neutral-away format though. I'd be 100% behind just rotating complete home series and complete away series each year.
