I hate to break it to anyone who is hoping otherwise but ...
Oats is a Bama man.
We could easily afford to pay Saban anything he wants but fortunately, he is a Bama man too and doesn't require anymore money. We can take that savings and apply it to Oats or whomever else we want. Bama Hoops has finally become a destination job.
UK, the magnetic poles have reversed. Sorry but that's just how it is. Everyone else can just deal with it.

You are a fool if you actually believe that. He would sell out his own grandmother to coach at Kentucky.

Nate Oats is from Wisconsin and still has a lake house up there. If Indiana or Kentucky come open after this season he'll be gone.

Where do you people come from?

I hate Kentucky basketball. Hate them. That being said, if Kentucky wants him he is gone.

Right and if Saban retired and Alabama wanted Stoops he'd say no.

My goodness, do you know what this means! It means you hate Kentucky and you're an idiot.

Matt Campbell turned down Texas. Luke Fickell turned down higher profile jobs.

Agree with you OP... Only way he leaves is for the NBA and I wouldn't blame him... That said, and this is a serious question, why would he leave Bama for Kentucky, Duke, Kansas???

Nobody says no to Alabama.

Ishtload of money that will come with much more pressure. Let's face it, most ADs are lazy out there. They always chase the shiny toy w/o doing the research.

Some coaches want the prestige of a blue blood job. Guaranteed to be the big man on campus. But in CBB, small schools can win titles. In CFB, that's much tougher.
Nobody can say for sure if he'll stay long term, or leave for another program/NBA (if he keeps Bama playing on this level). But there's 2 things that are certain. 1) It won't be for more money than Bama can/will pay. 2) OP is an idiot
