Can a you give me an example of a Bama coach leaving for greener pastures??

Alabama has never had a good enough coach for this to present itself

I feel like he’s much more likely to end up in the NBA. Even if he took a blue blood job I don’t seem him lasting long there before going to the NBA.

Am I hearing Adam Oats a former St. Louis hockey player?

Now imagine if you reverse this logic if Bama were to come after a football coach from a school like UNC or South Carolina. Then you understand how ridiculous it sounds.

Stop being fricking delusional.

The only reason Rick Barnes didn’t jump to UCLA is because they were too cheap to pay his buyout and UT is a better basketball job than Alabama. Some guys, most guys, just want the blue bloods.

And you have inside knowledge into Nate's brain showing that he is Just waiting for Kentucky or someone to come calling??
If not then STFU

Lulz, he would crawl on broken glass for the Kentucky job. If we offer, he come.

And you're sure about that? Would like to hear your evidence... Because as it stands today, he's set to kick your arse for years to come... Change my mind

By that logic he would’ve never left Buffalo or high school.

Bama offered way more money and benefits... Ever look at his before and after contracts???
Sounds like you have no fricking idea of what you're talking about..

I liken it to Billy Gillespie at A&M. A&M has plenty of money, but that didn't stop him from running to UK when they came calling. Obviously his tenure at UK was a failure, but he still ditched an AD with plenty of money to coach a blue blood. Calipari left a great gig at Memphis making plenty of money to go to UK. Memphis even matched Kentucky's offer but it didn't matter.

So now Oats only cares about money? I wasn’t aware you were inside his brain? Isn’t that what your logic was?

If Syracuse comes available, he’s gone.

Why would he leave? Bama plays in a dump and the arena is half empty unless they are playing someone big.

Bama isn’t a basketball school. He won’t be at Bama long if he has any success.

Oats says he likes being at a school where football is huge. It takes away alot of the scrutiny that job like UK would present. Remember when the cameras following Billie Gillispie while he emptied out his office?

Well, he owns the first 7 games. It does appear Alabama is for real but not being there in a while makes one pause til the finish line is crossed.

This is sad. I don’t even think UK is gonna be open after this year. Or that he would get the call. But if he did? LOL Bama ain’t keeping shite.

As a die-hard Bama man, he’s gone within two years. I take heat from fellow Bama fans, but he’ll be at a blue blood as soon as they offer.

Money isn’t everything when ego gets involved.

Also while Bama might ostensibly have 10 million per year to pay a basketball coach, i HIGHLY doubt they’d prioritize spending in such a way.

The ego is an individual problem, not a community fault. But your prisoner of the moment take is typical. What was your soothsaying powers telling you about Oats after the 3 loss OOC schedule?
