MSU didn't offer Cam money. Cam's handler told an MSU booster what it was going to take to sign Cam and MSU reported it to the SEC office. Cam committed to Auburn and told Megan Mullen that he had to do it because "the money was too much."
I understand everyone likes to run with a BS narrative that gets kicked around on a troll board, but every once in a while it's important to be factual.

i love the way some Auburn fans try changing the facts. Mullen recruited Cam but was told it was going to cost a bundle. We reported it to the Ncaa and Auburn actually PAID CAM to sign with AU yet you are blaming MSU? Lmao!
The NCAA has already acknowledged Cam’s dad got paid to have Cam sign with Auburn. That’s right, you actually paid the big money and cheated but you like to change the facts and shift focus to MSU because YOU GOT CAUGHT! Nice try cheater.
