Some say 2006-2009 was peak college football.
How do you compare teams from different eras? Is it possible to determine the GOAT: 01 Miami, 04USC, 08Gators, 2020Bama?
I feel like the teams of today would get eaten alive in eras of yesterday. None of this you tickle a WR and it’s an ejection. I’m so sick of the new targeting rule and the advantage offense has over defense. I want blood and bones.

LSU would hire him in a minute. Only Bama, Ole Miss, Florida, Moo State and A&M have better coaches.
Kirby can flat out recruit... unlike my boy Mullen. Get used to it folks. Florida will probably win a championship once in the next 10 years but UGA will be a consistent 9-3/10-2 top 3 SEC team.
Any other coaches that would remain over a Kirby fire?

Who would you rather have leading your team in the national championship game?
Neither could win it but not expected given overall programs (UGA and A&M not top tier programs like Bama, UF, LSU).

Another couple SEC East runner up years?
The guy can absolutely recruit and has UGA consistently in top15 of end of season rankings. I just have not seen enough to think he can take over a game coaching and win a meaningful game when it matters.
Are you OK with a few 10-2 type seasons or do you run him out similar to what other top programs may do (Alabama, LSU, UF - the golden three of SEC)?

09 team lost Harvin and Dan Mullen among few other important pieces.
08 Gators defense shutdown an all-time Oklahoma offense. 08 Gators would also score at will on 2020 Bama like many other teams (Gators this year out up 40+ on Bama).

If fully healthy and off the weed, who do you take for a college season?
My choice is Harvin. Could play RB, WR, Special Teams all in an era where passing offense was not abused and top players did not opt out.
