I don’t think anyone disagreed he was a good hire. It was the 75 million dollars that everyone laughed at.

Mond isnt throwing 65 yard dimes in stride or window passes with 2 inches to spare. Clemson losing to whatever insanity we saw yesterday is not necessarily bad.

75M starting to look pretty damned good. Fisher has escalated the talent level at A&M. We aren’t going away

I don't know that he's washed up but I do think he's very Les Miles-esque in that he can bring the recruits in and outtalent some teams, but struggles to beat good teams because of his offensive approach.
And there absolutely were some issues at FSU, last three seasons were 10-3, 10-3, and 7-5 in the weak ACC despite pulling top 5 recruiting classes.
