His scheme will not work here and his assistants that will come with him are not ready for sec ball.

It will either work or not work.

He will either win or not win the west and the SEC.

Change was needed.

I think he’ll do fine, but not relative to auburn expectations. They should have been content with Gus honestly, usually getting at least 8 wins, jumping up occasionally, beating bama fairly frequently

Forthcoming. All coaches bring those who know their scheme. Basic 101 coaching.

Seems like bama fans are talking more about the hire than we are.

I smell fear

You sound scared, it might work it might not. Good hire though, and I bet he will evolve his system unlike Gus. That is what good coaches do, evolve and improve. You could say that Saban's original scheme doesnt work that is why he is more spread offense now.

What part of his scheme won't work here?

Which assistants are coming with him?

so, you think he'll do fine but don't think he can win 8 games a season while losing pretty much every road game to our rivals and have a splash season here and there?

What is "fine" to you then?

Please breakdown his scheme for me. I know nothing about it. How many games have you watched him coach?

If he averages 3-5 losses a year with some big wins, he can make a living for 7-8 years at Auburn

Are you the one who doesn't know how to spell the new coaches name, but started a thread extolling his virtues? Something rings hollow there.

EDIT: yep, it's you - thread title: "Brian Harsin: By the numbers". LINK
