You’ve never been around GM clearly. He’s about as far opposite of the type who duck hunt as a person could possibly be. He gets his hair colored

If he took a 1 year hiatus from a big school to work on learning how to adapt his offense and study film and find ways to attack a defense like the best coaches do, he’d be great at UT. Right now he’s an offensive version of Proot

You don't think he'd be good? I've seen him on before and thought he did pretty well.
Just don't ask him to break down a defense, because he apparently lost that skill a few years ago.

Probably an offensive consultant at Alabama like everybody else! They just want to be around daddy for a couple of years to rebuild their confidence!

Three things that could keep it from happening:
1) Ego. Would Gus take a G5 job 75 miles from the P5 job that fired him?
2) Troy won't have a vacancy until this time next year. Lindsey is a dead man walking but he'll get 2021 before the executioner comes calling.
3) Would Troy replace a failed Malzahn disciple with Malzahn himself?
