Just curious.

New staff could use the extra practice.

No. I don't see the point.

COVID restrictions will prevent the kids from doing anything fun.

This is the dumbest logic.

Do people realize the players enjoy playing football? A lot of times y’all act like it’s a job no one enjoys doing.

Most the kids out there play football because they love football.

Don't want none of NC!!

Didn't they rush for almost 500 yards against Miami last week?

Oh then in that case just let the players vote on it. I thought we were all about saving money these days.

If we have a coach other than Kevin Steele, I might be interested in going. Bham Bowl would be convenient.

Its not dumb logic. You will see other teams saying they won't play in a bowl game.

These players have been through a lot playing 10 SEC games.
Some will opt out anyway, even if we did play.
Time will be limited and restricted even if they decide to play. They are not going to have much free time since they won't be allowed to do anything in public.
Some will not want to play bc Malzahn got fired.

There are plenty of reasons why they may not want to play.

There will be no new staff in place to run a different offensive and defensive scheme by the time of a Bowl Game. Otherwise draw it up in the sand on the stadium floor and see if it works ....The interim (Steele) coaches and the Assistants we have now, complete their duties to the Bowl Game.

Orlando, they go to Disney and Universal.

Tampa they go to Busch Gardens and the beach.

Odd, both in Florida, sun good.

Florida open.

I saw some projections earlier today that had us playing Northwestern in the Citrus Bowl.

Don't know anything about this year's NW squad but I've seen enough matchups with NW/Wisc/Penn St in the state of Florida to just go ahead and get the coach hired and focus on spring practice. I don't wanna watch us get beat by Northwestern.

I remember watching the 2009/10 Outback Bowl on TV. The ending was great

I agree. Northwestern is solid. I dont think we'd be giving them Purdue treatment of two years ago with the our current team.

Hire a coach, pass on a bowl, and start the off season transition.

Do you think it would as lucrative with Covid factoring into the equation?
