The play prior to the game winning field goal was a pass out in the flats and a tackle near the sidelines.
How then was LSU able to spot the ball so far away from the left hash marks?

The play before was a QB run and slide to the middle. Pass was two plays before.

I noticed that and have no idea. But I noticed it for a different reason. I was nervous that the spot would make the kick harder being almost dead on. I would have rather been on a hash.
FWIW. York is now 9-11 over 50 yds... I dont think it mattered to him

That is curious. Don’t get me wrong that only matters to me on close field goals. It’s not like left or right hash from 57 out matters but it is a good rules question.
