I’ve heard from more than one Bull Gator that Stricklin sucks…perhaps it’s the woke admin above him or both but they’re holding uf back from their potential
I’ll never understand why Woodward couldn’t stand behind our guy like other major programs (Kansas, Arizona, Duke, UNC) And no it wasn’t to protect the football program or because of the underlying grounds (all of the major programs paid players and even to a greater extent). Anyone have any real inside info on why Woodward totally screwed this up?

Yorke has a lot of talent and, therefore, had considerable hype coming into the season. The second a player like that strikes out or duffs one in the field, emotionally immature vaginas take over the board.
Well, yeah. Seriously.
I think playing a Sec schedule week in and week out is more difficult than playing a big 10 schedule week in and week out.
If you want to make the argument that the big 10 provides a more difficult road to the playoffs - have at it. But I don’t buy that.

Good Lord son, I’m talking about the regular season schedule. Week in and week out the SEC is a tougher gauntlet than your average big 10 schedule. Come on, don’t be that guy.
Keep living in fantasy land nerd
Ok, now add the schedule into that analysis. Sec and Big Ten are not the same.

This x1000. The portal is the biggest problem and it isn’t/wasn’t even required by law like NIL. Revert to the old rule (sit out a year - with some less draconian guardrails) and I think we can get closer to what college sports were/should be.
Exactly…whether we like it our not, this is hand we’re dealt. Might as well stand behind the folks that stepped up.
re: In 3 words or under, what’s your first thought when it comes to Bama?

Good. At. Football.
Gotta respect the longevity of their football program.
Almost every era they’re relevant - kinda like lsu baseball except relevant over a longer period of time

And what if LSU looks better with Lane? And I know you’ve thought about that.

Hold on….what about Saban’s talking point that he let Kirby stay on staff when Kirby was going to Georgia while preparing for the national title game against Clemson? As Coach said: there’s a way to do it if you’re professional about it. Where were the media vaginas during that situation? The hypocrisy is ridiculous. I’ll listen to the guy on the panel that has accomplished more than anyone there by a long shot.
Nice work, for a gator yer alright
I think Golesh is a great hire. UF is missing the boat here. Urban’s offense was considered gimmicky when he came from Utah and so was Spurrier’s. Yet, both succeeded beyond typical standards.
We’ll see if Golesh succeeds at Arky but I think he’d do even better at UF. I think he’s the most overlooked candidate out there based on what’s he’s done everywhere he’s been. Looking at the guy’s track record he has succeeded at multiple places in the position he’s been given and each place is vastly different than the other.
UF needs to go get Mullen back, give him a big NIL budget and let the recruiters recruit while he calls plays.

I guess, but damn…I’m about ready to do so myself and I’m not a betting guy
If you’re referring to ucf that’s pretty damn funny
Totally agree. The only game I could be ok with is the title game at a neutral site. Other than that, spot on for sure.
re: Non Sec but looking at OH ST Schedule

Geez dude don’t be so myopic about rankings. I know it’s difficult for those of you who don’t play in a rugged conference to understand. Truthfully you just don’t know what you don’t know. Best way to explain it is this: on average would you rather play 8 or 9 Florida’s or 8 or 9 Northwestern’s week in and week out? One schedule is more difficult than the other.
