They are literally the people who go from lottery winner to homeless in 10-years. No idea how to handle or maintain success. And it all starts with the Head Coach.

Reading the SECCG thread on the SECr I saw Dubose's name and it struck me the parallels between O and Dubose.
Both were DL coaches with no DC experience.
Both were hired for reasons other than their resumes (Bear/Bama boy..."he talks like us")
Both had one singular year of success (SECCG blowout of Florida...'19 perfect season)
Both have a year immediately following that success where the train runs of the tracks.
Both have off-field issues regarding their zippers.
Has LSU found their Dub-Orgeron?

I mean literally the only reason not to run the score up on them if we have the opportunity is to prove how beneath us they are.

Improve the numbers of our guys going into the draft. I don't know that one game would make that big of a difference, but our last three games will likely be more challenging and their chances of good numbers not as high.

I can't recall a single time Coach Saban has intentionally run up the score. Heck, he was angry that Eddie Lacey ripped off a long touchdown run late in the bowl game against Michigan State in ... what, 2011?
If we have a significant lead in the third quarter, I expect us to start substituting liberally and running the ball more often than not. Keeping the starters in when they don't have to be only increases the risk of injury.
Orgeron acted the fool last year after the game. Even if he has the opportunity, Saban isn't going to do that in any shape, form, or fashion.

Just win the game with no injuries. I don't give a sh*t what the score is. This team has bigger and better things to accomplish this season.

I hope to see a quick montage video after tomorrow night of Ed O: “we’re going to beat their arse every time we see them”, then cut to this year’s score (Bama win 56-7 or something), then cut to credits and cue the Curb Your Enthusiam music,

That’s Saban’s trademark. How many times are we comfortably sitting at 40-something points with 20 minutes of gametime left and we’re thinking we are about to score 60 then don’t score another point while the other team gets a trash TD or 2? It happens often and I expect it to happen again this weekend.
.....and every LSU fan will brag about keeping us under 50 and “it was worth it for last year.”

It seems like we are more likely to shitstomp a team if the game is close at the half, like poor Kentucky.

We need to lock the cage Saturday night and throw away the key. No mercy. 4 quarters of crimson hell.

In general you are correct but Najee scoring on Michigan last year in the bowl game didn't have to happen (26 seconds on the clock).

Coach Saban doesn't give a shite about Ed Orgeron Jr. Gonna be business as usual

Saban won’t run up the score. He will pull starters mid 3rd quarter. It’s up to the backups to put up 60. They should take last year personally. It’s their opportunity to curb stomp that trash arse team.

Because fvck LSU, that’s why.

Wonder if they'll turn off the scoreboard in the 3rd quarter?
