He averaged 73 ypg 30+ years ago, and he'd no longer have the same speed advantage he had then.

Players today would have a difficult time tackling Bo Jackson.

Bo, IMO, is the best athlete in my lifetime (I'm 60) but he ain't averaging 350+....not even in college.

Bo Jackson might average 100 yards per game in today's NFL...

...which isn't too bad for a 57 year old.

Pretty sure I averaged that using the Raiders in Super Tecmo Bowl.

I mean, come on. Odom would hold Jackson and Auburn to a terrible replay win, at best. Even Bo Knows the refs fricked up.

The dumbest thing I’ll read all day, and it’s not even 8:30.

Bo’s sheer strength caused his injury. Essentially, his own leg power caused his hip to dislocate while someone was holding his legs.

No way that mf would get 200 yards today on average.

Blows my mind that people actually think Bo Jackson would be the best RB in the NFL by far if he played today. The guy never had a 1,000 yard season. The guys on defense today are lightyears ahead of where they were 30 years ago. Bigger, faster, stronger, etc. The guy couldn't stay healthy 30 years ago, how would he do it in 2020 when pretty much every RB is made of glass?

It's probably the same people that think Babe Ruth would be a hall of famer if he played today.

It’s kind of funny to see considering the fact that Henry is dominating the NFL and Bo was a faster, more athletic Henry

Bo Jackson was the best athlete I've ever seen in my lifetime. The only thing holding Bo back at the barn was having to share the stage with 3 other backs in the wishbone. He was built for football and baseball and could equally dominate. Not just play major league baseball, like a few others tried to do, but dominate at the All-Star level. He had incredible power and speed to the point that when he lined up for the Raiders it felt like he was taking it to the house every time he touched the ball. His power and speed certainly translated to baseball and to top it off he also had an absolute cannon for a throwing arm. Who is the hell has all those gifts in one package? He was MJ long before MJ in popularity and unlike MJ was built for any sport he cared to dominate.

I'm no barner fan, but they got their hands on the best athlete I ever saw walk on a field of any kind.

I can't imagine how awesome Bo would be with the officiating Auburn receives these days. Prob wouldn't be allowed to be tackled.

Mentioning Bo or Cam is pretty much the same thing as chumming the water for bottom-feeders.

so averaging 5.4 yards per carry, in the NFL, is now average?

Just checked....yep...you still lost. Stop whining about the officiating at Auburn.
