And I could throw for 500 yards a game. See, it's easy.

Is hyperbole just lost on everyone now? He was talking about how no one wraps up now and they all just throw their shoulder in the ball carrier.

Exactly. Obviously A young healthy Bo would wreck the league at almost anytime though.

How much more money would he get from Auburn today?

Ah. Admittedly I didn’t click the link cause I’m a jackass who doesn’t click links. Thank you for the context

He's 100% right about tackling technique. 30 years ago Bama had a kid at linebacker that never "knocked a guy out" but he made it look easy with perfect technique. He never missed a tackle. He didn't hit them high. He always wrapped up. There was never that ESPN type collision.

Wished I could recall his name. Some white kid. Good size and speed. Highly rated out of HS and he translated well to college. Played for Perkins.

Bo would do what Derrick Henry does, only with 4.2 speed

Can y'all imagine if Bo, Herschel or any of those other amazing backs from the 80's could play now? They were in offenses when everybody KNEW the ball would get run 40 times a game. Also, the idea of some of those freaks of nature with modern exercise science is crazy. They also got all of those yards before the targeting rules when linebackers and safeties made their living as guided missiles that would be put in jail in the modern game.

Dunno about the NFL, but he would absolutely rape today's CFB defenses.

Cocky and delusional af lol that's him tho

Prob still in great shape but his NFL career was so fricking minimal. Just funny to hear this from him. Now if Dickerson said this ok

But still untrue. It's a passing league

Mentioning Bo or Cam is pretty much the same thing as chumming the water for bottom-feeders.
