I'm still south of Lane Kiffin territory.
But seriously, I'd prefer something closer to a scenic nature walk than a real hike. Too many knee surgeries already.

Pigeon Forge is a redneck riviera.
Pigeon forge isn’t on the gulf coast of Florida.
Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cherokee, Cades Cove, Townsend, if you can’t find something to do there you are just dead inside.
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are family centered tourist traps. Cherokee has history and casinos. Townsend has history and nature. Cades Cove has history and nature. Fishing, golf, destination theme parks, gambling, sporting events, everything but an open ocean.

Are you referring to the one behind the space needle? Log cabin pancake house?
Yeah, I think that's the one. It has a bunch of college flags hanging in it?

Plus half of it burnt down a few years ago.
Not really. The town is fine. I am there quite often as it’s an hour away. North of town saw limited damage but few folks notice it.

Gatlinburg has a special place in my heart as I’ve went there many times as a kid with my parents and beyond. Played Hillbilly golf, ate at Possum Jones, rode the chairlifts.. etc..

I went there in August and it wasn't as good as I remember it years ago. Yeah, had the flags hanging from the ceiling. Definitely a nice restaurant tho
