They better for their own sake. There is a college football game on tomorrow night. The melt will be apocalyptic them sitting at home watching everyone else play for 15 weeks.

Those assclowns have no ground to stand on. If it was too dangerous in September why will it be safer I. November?

It’s because they got their asses handed to them When they tried to further the pain of this corona pandemic.

F them all.

How the hell is it safe to play in late November through the beginning of the year in the heart of flu season but not safe to play in late September, October and early November? What the hell is the difference?

It’s all optics. They look like giant bitches and it is apparent that the rest of college football is actually going to play so they are scrambling to save face.

The Journal Sentinel reported earlier this month that league officials were working on a plan to play an eight-game season beginning in January, with the games to be played in indoor facilities.

Green Bay fans are probably laughing their arse off at this.

They’ll play in domes in their own bubbles, so the frigid aspect won’t matter too much except for practice (which I believe all of the Big 10 teams have indoor facilities).

Start Thanksgiving and end in February with a rose bowl game right after the season. Possible if PAC 12 is on board too.

They’re trying to strong arm the rest of the P5 with this move.

If they start in late November, before the other conferences have completed their seasons, it will create major CFP headaches. Will likely push it back two months.

They’re hoping with this move it will encourage enough P5 teams to push to delay the start until November, in line with the B1G that all schools will have to fall in line.

How many indoor facilities are available for them to use?

I guess if there are no fans, they can use practice facilities??

The CFP committee has already announced their new schedule and will likely tell the B1G to go frick themselves. CFP doesn't need the B1G.

Mail-in voting for the presidential election and the conflicting optics of playing football, having fans attend games, etc..., won't be an issue in late November. The Big Ten should just go ahead and schedule the start of its season for Nov. 7.

I don't know if it's possible to punt in every one of those practice facilities due to the roof height.

I agree. If the BIG thinks the CFP will now adjust to accommodate their winter schedule, then they are doubling down on the dumb. Did they not learn anything when they assumed everyone else would follow them into the pool; only to surface to see everyone else pointing and laughing at them?

They're doing this to try to keep kids from transferring. I'm willing to bet they end up not playing.

I know right!

I can't wait to see them play football in Wisconsin in late January! Or at Penn State, or Ohio, I will laughing my you know what off!

So are we supposed to wait to play the NCG until they finish their season? You know they will be complaining about that!

The word was them using Vikings Stadium, Indy Stadium, St. Louis's Dome, and Ford Field in Detroit and having teams go there and play in "bubbles" each weekend.

Indoor practice facilities would be limited. They're usually just built to support one team, not two teams and all of their staff.
