Nice game to open the season with. Saw chatter on Twitter where opening with the Iron Bowl wasn't ruled out.

Here's the rest of the opening day slate of games:

Alabama at Mizzou
Georgia at Arkansas
Florida at Ole Miss
Miss St at LSU
UT at SC
Vandy at Texas A&M

It would be the most Auburn thing ever to win the Championship this year

We are clearly going undefeated in a tree falls in a forest with nobody around kind of way.

Does Stoops let Gatewood try and get some revenge against us?

His waiver to play without sitting out was approved right?

Yeah I think I saw someone bitching because a more prominent transfer applied for the waiver after Gatewood and already received approval

The COVID whirlybird. If anyone comes within 6 feet of the RB, he spins around and lays down.

that is the latest.

It is surprising some players who asked for waivers already have been approved.

I'm not sure I've seen any player denied by the NCAA recently.

But even if Gatewood is approved I don't see him playing that much against Auburn. Is he allowed to practice with the KY team? And it has been almost a whole year since he has seen any on field practice

A lot of the cases there is at least some trivial reason beyond just i'm not the starter so i'm transferring (I realize that they are all pretty much meaningless).

Joey's is 100% transferring because of that (I'm not blaming him, probably the right move). I know Auburn is trying to help let him be eligible, but I don't see him becoming eligible unless the NCAA truly has the desire to open up transferring with no sit out rules, for any reason whatsoever.

Maybe that will reduce RB fumbles!

You can practice while ineligible to play in a game. No different than a redshirt player. They practice, use facilities, etc.

COVID killing spring ball probably didn't help him with unseating a returning starter.
