For Alabama, I nominate Jake Coker. The kid was a baller when we needed him to be and was 14-0 as a starter. He finished his one and only season as the starter with over 3,000 passing yards, 21 TDs, and 8 INTs. He also completed 67% of his passes.

Also...who doesn't love this touchdown pass?

I remember when Jacob decided to go to bama. I said well eff, now they have a great qb. We’re all playing for second place now.

I mean, Connor Shaw was 27-5 as a starter, never lost at home as a starter. 56 TDs passing TDs, 17 rushing TDs. Never really hear him talked about because of where he played.

Connor Shaw would be a good selection. Clearly not the most talented QB to ever suit up, but he showed up in games when it mattered. A 27-5 overall record as a starter at South Carolina and 17-0 at home is pretty remarkable.

Chad Kelly

At the time in 2015 he had the third most total yards in a season by an SEC QB. Only behind Manziel's two seasons. Dude had a fricking cannon and incredible accuracy on deep throws

Mettenberger...gets shite because fat Chavis tanked the defense while he was here.

Reading that thread, do some bama fans think Burrow shouldn’t have been the heisman or something?

Seems like they are trying to minimize his heisman moment play against Georgia by saying that any play where a QB scrambles to avoid being tackled and the throw the ball deep is the same situation.

Or are they trying to say Coker should’ve been heisman? Not sure which

Sounds like they also think he only won it because bama injuries.

James Franklin comes to mind for Mizzou but he only played his last 2 years in the SEC. 51 passing TDs and 21 rushing TDs. Also led Mizzou to SEC championship game in 2013 while playing injured. Overlooked because of where he played.

I don't think most Auburn fans underrate him, but Nock Marshall was a wizard in that 2013/2014 offense. It's hard to imagine a more perfect fit for it.

Blake Sims - Alabama 2014.

Had an amazing season, is given way too much blame for Bama collapsing against OSU.

If you believed the dullards on here the kid could barely throw a spiral. Won back to back NCs and within a miracle Kick 6 of a third.

Biased, but I'll nominate Dak. Put him on any Big 6 SEC team with the stats that he put up and he's a late 1st, early 2nd rounder.
