Another wasted season. No way LSU hosts a regional now.

Can someone who knows more about RPI than I explain why OM is #209? Is it purely because our game got rained out last night?

Because Ole Miss is #209. It’s not that hard to understand.

So taking the series vs. the #1 ranked team in the country warrants a ranking of 209 in RPI?

I'm not sure how rpi works, but I know that it doesn't work early in the season.

As is with RPI you didn’t bet the #1 team you beat a 1-2 team. Give it time bro it’ll show up

Appreciate it. A quick google search showed that RPI is based on winning percentage and SOS (which takes opponent winning percentage into account), so your explanation makes sense. Have a good season Dawgs, maybe we can win the damn governors cup this year

Since it is early for the RPI ( RPI takes into account win percentage of other team) cLoser to the bottom of the list the better.

Finally, after several days of being criminally underrated, UK gets the recognition it deserves.

You took the series against a team that is 1-2. You expect RPI to suck your dick for that?

Because math.

Your winning percentage (.667) x your opponents' winning percentage (.333) x your opponents' opponents' winning percentage (null since Louisville hasn't played anyone other than Ole Miss) = .222

RPI is not even something to look at until there is a greater sample size, like 10 games at a minimum. It is like being concerned about a pitchers WHIP after 1/3rd inning pitched.
