This. Replace the carpets if you want, send LSU the bill. They'd rubber-stamp it with the quickness, and probably laugh it off.
People keep saying "you can't touch a cop, what do you expect?"... but the fact is, the cop is SO out of place in there, that nobody can answer what they'd really do.
Has there EVER been cops trying to raid postgame celebrations of this magnitude? Past BCS games, Super Bowls, World Series, NBA Finals, NCAA Final Four?
This seriously might take NOLA out of the rotation for such events.
Right on man. That he had the gall to take it upon himself to go into that situation and stir shite up. Like I said that dude is a danger to society every minute he is out on the street with the authority of the state behind him.
You know the little bastard just eats it up thinking he can tell people what to do just because he has a badge.
NWA wrote a classic song about his type..."you'd rather see me in the pen then me and lorenzo rollin' in the benzo!" lol showing my age with that 1988 reference!

It was so bizarre and inappropriate, that most of the people in there probably thought he was a joke... like somebody was trolling HARD and called a male stripper.
As crazy as that sounds, it also sounds more likely than what ACTUALLY occurred.

Odell is a true fricking idiot and made an absolute arse of himself several times during and after that game.

Maybe we have never heard of cops or security guards in the locker rooms after these games because no one has ever done something as stupid as slapping one of them on the butt!
Don't get me wrong, I think the guard was over reaching in his attempt to get the OL to put out is cigar, but seriously, as everyone as said, You don't slap a guy in uniform! Especially a security guard, they are guys who couldn't pass the test to become real police officers!

OBJ is an entitled moron. He slapped that cops arse pretty damn hard and instead of showing signs of playfulness he looked at the cop hard like “what the phuck you gonna do pig”... so I guess the cop is trying to show him what he’s gonna do. It’s wasn’t in jest. You can tell by his demeanor. He’s a fricking punk and likely needs a reality check before he really makes a mistake that will haunt him. Doubt he is ever humbled without a serious gut check though.

Yeah maybe but not half of big of an idiot as the cop who literally threatened to arrest LSU players 15 minutes into their celebration if they didn't put out their cigars.
He was not a security guard and an actual cop threatening them with arrest.
Seriously who the frick does that guy think he is? What it takes and the sacrifices made for those athletes to get to that moment and he interjects himself into their harmless celebration. Literally threatening to deprive them of their freedom during the culmination of their life's work to this point.
frick HIM!!!!!!
I don't have the words for how little respect I have for that douchebag.

This is disorderly at most but even then it's dumb as hell. Like many disorderly charges cop got embarrassed and needs to get the hell over it like everyone else would but since they have a badge what is nothing to most people is a crime when it happens to them.

The pompous POS needs to be prosecuted. He shows no respect or regard for law enforcement. Not to mention the fact, that young people and his fans are watching and will think this is acceptable behavior. Imagine if you or I did this to a policeman. The NFL must act on this unacceptable behavior. Their silence would be deafening.

Not a fan of OBJ but this some bullshite

All I've learned from this thread is that LSU fans believe gay men have the right to sexually assault other men without repercussion.

Law enforcement isn't owed more respect than the next person. It's wrong to slap anyone but in context it is stupid for the cop to be filing charges. I expect locker room stupidity under the circumstances.

He's acting like he's raiding a house party that someone called in. If it were any school other than LSU (and thus from outside Louisiana), you know they'd be filing greivances with the city and state for this bullshite.

Damnit, Joe Burrow is so likeable.
But a lot of the rest of the program isn't.

How are they owed more respect than anyone else? To me that is part of the problem. Is it only cops that shouldn't have their asses smacked?
