Let them pay it back and suspend them the first part of the season...

End of story. Oh, and ban OBJ from all athletic events on campus or with the teams wberever they may travel to.

How about they just arrest OBJ and leave everyone else alone?

Do you really think all these NFL players whose best friends may still be on the team don't come back and take current players out to dinner or buy them something at a store.
It happens all the time.

I'm sure these NFL players hook their friends up with NFL game tickets.

Why would they be suspended? I could understand if it was "discovered" after the fact and spent, etc...then "repaid". But, at this point..it is:

1) Obvious that the players did not solicit it

2) It can be repaid immediately

Yes, OBJ should be removed from access to events, etc.

This is much ado about nothing

This will become a non-issue as soon as people stop talking about it.

Dumb response. They’re celebrating the greatest moment of their athletic lives and OBJ idiotically comes in and shoves cash in their hands. They don’t even know what is going on and it was totally unexpected. They should just give it back or donate it to charity or something. Calling for the NCAA to suspend the players is gestapo level stupid and you’d think an Alabama fan would know better.

Now, get OBJ out of there and keep him away from players. I’d be happy if that ruling came from the NCAA and not Coach O.

The 2 players on camera probably won’t be here next year. Kirklin maybe, but he’s a scout team player mostly. Way down the depth chart

"What do you mean by the “first part of the season”?"

First 12 games should do.

No doubt it's just crazy that it was straight up cash handshakes right there in front of a national broadcast camera.

Then LSU absurdly releases the statement that it's "fake cash"? Like anyone believes that?

I don't think they need to be punished or anything but when it's right in front of the camera and then the stupid arse fake money statement wouldn't you think NCAA has to address it to save face just a little bit?

OJB damn sure knows the rules, as well as the players that accepted. So every player that accepted the money should be disqualified next season.

That's easy because they aren't coming back anyway.

Jefferson declared for the draft, which everyone knew would happen.

It is over, not one left to look into on OBJ foolishness.
