Who considers their SEC East-West Permanent Opponent a Rival?

Obviously the 4 schools who cause this scheduling caveat to remain are big time rivals.
Tennessee-Alabama - The Third Saturday in October
Georgia-Auburn - The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry
But what about the rest?
Florida-LSU
I think UF-LSU has become a rivalry, even though we were possibly heading there on our own as we were playing every year since 1971. It is definitely must see TV when we play in any of the major sports and some of the most competitive games as well.
Carolina-Texas A&M
Arkansas was the first East-West perm opponent when Carolina joined the SEC as they were both the newcomers, and it was a fairly even matchup with Ark leading 13 game to 10. I would think there is a little bit of bad blood in this one since A&M has won all 6 contests and also swiped the SC AD. Add that Muschamp was the heir apparent in Austin for a while and the whole statehouse stuff and you would think this is eventually going to brew into something.
Kentucky-Miss State
Mullen seemed to make this pretty one sided in MSU's favor, but Stoops seems to have gotten over the hump and won a couple in this series lately. They didn't play much before the 1992 expansion so I am not sure of their level of hatred here.
Vandy-Ole Miss
These teams have a long history together of over 90 games against each other and it has been pretty competitive lately with the last 10 season split 5-5.
Mizzou-Arkansas
For 2 schools who are this close in proximity there is not a lot of history between them. While the first game between the schools was way back in 1906, they have only played each other 5 times prior to joining the SEC and 2 of those were bowl games.
What say the fans of these respective schools? Have these pairings started to develop into some good rivalries that are worth preserving for the future?

I can’t contain the hate I have for those Vandy nerds.

Don't you have to beat a team at least once over 13 years for it to be a rivalry?

The coaching search has created some more interest regarding Mizzou and Arkansas but for the most part I don't think either side really cares that much still.

Nope.
No true rival since Texas which is ok but rivalries are fun.

Not really. I just see them as another SEC opponent from the east that I usually pull for when not playing State.

Eric Hyman going to A&M was a win for South Carolina.

I enjoyed the Arkansas rivalry more than A&M

I absolutely consider U of SC our rival. It’s been very bitter from their side while we just try to have fun at their statehouse. They have yet to beat us, but when they do in 2030, it’ll kick it up a notch.

Florida-LSU I'd say yes already.
Carolina-A&M Could be one day.
UK-MissSt Could be.
Mizzou-Arky who gives a frick?

I don’t really consider Florida a rival. Not that it’s not competitive - it is - I just don’t find myself rooting against Florida when we’re not playing them.

#1 Auburn-Georgia
#2 LSU-Florida
And then everyone else. Until Tennessee gets better, no one cares about Tennessee-Alabama except for those clinging to the past

Sounds like you've made good arguments FOR them.

Lol. Mullen made it one sided? Are you retarded? UK owned State. Mullen brought the all time series into .500 territory. Until Mullen, it WAS one sided. In Kentucky's favor. JFC.

UGA is paired with Auburn so obviously yes.
My wife is an Auburn alum though, so I wouldn't want to see the UGA/AU game go away just from that aspect.
One of us inevitably has one or two drinks too many, we scream about divorce, I sleep on the couch, then the next day apologize.
And I get the satisfaction of knowing that Auburn has only beaten UGA three times since we even met each other.

I'll never see A&M as a rival and it has nothing to do with currently being 0-6 vs. them. It's just a dumb forced game as the two last teams to pair together in this stupid system.

I had really started to dislike Vandy during the Franklin years

When both schools are doing well in basketball then yes. This will be a heated rivalry. In football no.
In football we have, at best, two rivals in the SEC and both are secondary rivals. Ole Miss and A&M. It is what it is.
