They couldn't sell enough hats and t-shirts at Walmart to make a game at BDS profitable.
The season ticket holders won't be there. The other 99% of Bama fans have never been to a Bama game. Why would they go to a NFL game?

Alabama fans need disco tech lighting to hold their attention, and use GPS mapping to make sure their fans don’t leave early.
I can only imagine the disinterest in seeing the Jaguars play the Cardinals in BDS.

Are you sure? The PTSD he still triggers in you guys might result in a few homicides.

Thought the plan was to go to 17 regular season games with 8 home, 8 away and 1 neutral site game. Also, eliminate 2 pre season games

Falcons/Saints in BDS sounds kinda interesting imo
Maybe for one of the Falcons home games.
Saints season ticket holders will be pissed if we lose that home game.

Was anyone here in attendance for the (Saban-led) Dolphins beating the displaced Saints in TS? Most have been a great atmosphere

ith some buzz about playing a game at Notre Dame or Alabama, as well as Hawaii and cities in Canada.
Hawaii is gorgeous, don't get me wrong, and the stadium there has some decent size to it... but that place is a dump.
I mean that quite literally. I've watched a few games there and every game has featured trash on the field.
As for our neighbors to the North, the problem with having games in Canada is you are probably just talking about Vancouver. Only Vancouver and Edmonton have NFL sized stadiums and while Edmonton is a very nice place it is out in the middle of nowhere and is an frozen wasteland for most of the football season.
The big Eastern Canadian cities have tiny stadiums all things considered. Toronto, for example, only seats 25k. That is less then Arkansas State's stadium.

My guess is it's part of the NFL's push to go to 17 games.
8 Home, 8 Road, 1 neutral site per team.

They are trying to figure out where to dump the Chargers.

Christ, anybody but those two teams. The NFL and the networks tried to force them as Alabama's regional games for decades, but I'd be surprised if this Falcons were in the top ten in popularity here, and the Saints are even lower.
The gulf coast of Alabama, are saints fans.

Has anyone said “Alabama” yet

No Falcons, Saints, Titans etc. People down here can already go to those games pretty easily. I would say the Pats vs. Cowboys would draw well.

Seems like none of the Saints games at Tiger Stadium were well attended
This one had a few good seats available.
Yeah, but everyone was recovering from Katrina. Even though Baton Rouge didn't have the direct impact that New Orleans did, the indirect impact was still considerable. The national guard was running a command center from the PMAC, there were 50,000 extra cars on Baton Rouge streets, so traffic was a dystopian nightmare, so many people in Baton Rouge were helping friends and family in New Orleans mud out their homes, or they were hosting families who were temporarily homeless or busy volunteering at shelters.
There's no way to look at the lack of crowds for those games and say anything about how an NFL game would do there.
All that said, Tiger Stadium is only an hour away from the Superdome, so it'd be stupid to play more NFL games in Tiger Stadium. The allure of Tuscaloosa, for example, is that it isn't close to an NFL stadium and might draw people who've never watched an NFL game in person.

especially in the dead of winter MONTANA or ALASKA would be appealing to both fans and players- maybe a city closer to the arctic circle could be found and make it a night game
