Don't forget his 198 yards against LSU. He had 228 against Ole Miss, 150 against Arky, over 100 against Auburn.
He had a pretty consistent season.

So funny reading different boards and ours and seeing so called “insiders” keep posting vague statements , fluid situations , “ he was ours until ....” . Just stop already . Nobody knows what the hell a 17-18 year old kid is going to do and some even after they say it . Wait til they sign and celebrate your class . All this garbage posting to make yourself look like an insider .....

That's not what he said
He said things have gotten more interesting and is trending more A&M, and if he were to make a pick right now it would be A&M but he didn't actually change his pick (in fact nobody has CB'd to A&M as of right now, I guess people have learned just to wait this out now...
). He didn't say we've moved on at all, just that in the background we've been recruiting 2 other RBs committed elsewhere the last few weeks in the meantime if Evans were to go to A&M.This post was edited on 12/12/19 at 4:56 pm

As I’ve gotten older I don’t believe a dang thing out of the mouths of these athletes. Heck, with the advent of the transfer portal I think whatever commitment a player gives will be contingent upon previously unknown factors.
He’s trolling the entire CFB world and will wind up playing Australian Rules Football in Perth.

Calling a recruit to a school and saying "if I have to pick now..." are not nearly the same thing.

No I don’t think so. It’s possible he’s looking at the two offenses and thinking he’d rather stay in the backfield more often than be utilized split out wide etc
