Really proud of how we moved the LOS in the 2nd half. Bo made plays that can't be taught...skill is less important at the QB position than heart.
The D was spotty, but played better in the 2nd half. We will have to bring pressure again this season, but I am hoping the LB's being more athletic will help the pass rush issues.

Give Gus a 3 year extension.

It’s being overlooked some but Oregon’s Oline is legit and to be honest will probably be the best OL we play all year other than maybe UGA.

I have a feeling that this one will last longer then 4 hours!!!!

Held them to 330 yards, only 90 on the ground

Kevin Steele’s defensive adjustments continue to be wonderful

Herbert will have nice stats but all his throws were underneath. Dont see number one QB hype with Tua or Fromm also in the mix.

I think this goes back to all of UOs wideouts being hurt... if Herbert had a Seth Williams to throw to, I think things would be different.
Even the throw he did make, we had them covered.
I was very impressed with Herbert... played above my expectations, given the circumstances.

To be fair, the overwhelming majority of Tua throws are underneath as well.

Maybe but Tua can hit deep too. Also more mobile. Lot of their WRs were hurt, but would’ve liked to see his arm strength little more.

Very true, I think Tua is much better than Hebert, but it is kind of crazy how short most of Tua’s completions actually are.
I say this, fully jealous because there is absolutely no reason we shouldn’t be doing more crossing routes and quick hitters.

Gus postgame presser: "I made some bad calls, especially that one on the 3 yard line"
I'm impressed at taking responsibility rather than the usual bullshite deflection
