Do fans seriously cry over football?

I love the sport and follow it closely. But do any of you admittedly cry over it? I have never cried over a game. I have been pissed, cussed at the game, chugged some beers over it. But crying? Just asinine reading some of the threads on here. I thought crying qas reserved for special moments in life (good or bad). Not over a damn game.

last highschool game sucked pretty bad but I highly doubt a fan actually cries after games

I recall AJ McCarron crying after y’all beat LSU in 2012. I thought it was just a game.

Only time I cried was after Punt Bama Punt. I was 11 at the time.

Suppose it's better than killing someone over the game

Not since I was a kid. And that was because of the crap from all of the Aubie kids I knew I would get.

Not that I know of, we have get togethers or we tailgate, enjoy the escape and move on.

Didn’t they have a Bama fan on camera crying while his girlfriend was consoling him when LSU won 9-6 in 2011?

I cried when the clock hit 0:00 in my last high school football game.
I’ve never cried about a game that I was watching, though.

Last time I cried over a football was directly after I took a shot to the baby makers...probably bout 16 at the time.

Like I said in the other thread, I haven't cried over a loss since I was in elementary school. I couldn't really imagine doing it as a grown man.
I will say that I do stop watching college football for the day when UGA loses mainly to avoid seeing the highlights during other games. I'll go to the movies and not really watch or read any CFB content until about the next Wednesday or so.

No, never.
I rarely get upset even.
However, I did melt like crazy from the moment they named Bateman the starting QB vs Ole Miss in 2015 all the way until the end. That game and the decision to start Bateman really pissed me off and then it just got worse.

I cry tears of happiness sometimes. Sports bring back A LOT of memories of great times especially with family for me. Humans are weird and certain things create emotions in some but not others. Let people express themselves.

YES. But only from happiness in the wake of a beautiful moment.
- Cole Tracy walk off, his reaction + O’s reaction + the team is just glorious (music makes it extra beautiful).
- Seeing young Trevor Lawrence on top of the world in January got me.
- Jalen coming in vs Georgia to win it. So happy for him. Most under appreciated player in CFB history.

I cried a couple times when I was a wee lad and will admit to crying at the end of my last HS game as we left the field. I loved football.
