Until he gets some pressure. Great 7 on 7 QB.
Well you know he ate up the blitz when SEC teams tried it. When he was 100 percent, and under pressure he was at his best. I don't blame you for wanting to find his weakness. But you might want to stick to the durability argument because that one has some validity to it.

Only gripe I have with the list is leaving off Don Hutson, the Alabama Antelope. He is literally the founding father of modern receiving. Set NFL records, some of which still stand, from the 30's and 40's. He was an All-American at Alabama, and is a member of both the college and pro Halls of Fame. Certainly one of the greatest receivers ever and in an era when passing was secondary to the running game.

I do not question his durability, he took some big hits last year. I question his decision making under that pressure. He got away with it at times, but it cost Bama a NC last year.

Roger Staubach should be on their as either 1st or 2nd team with what he did at Navy.

This means LSU does more with less. LSU is the ultimate team is greater than individual pieces.

only issue for me is Frazier 1st team.. all the other picks are cool.

You must not have seen they guy play. Plus he played back before officiating made being a QB much easier.

Well apparently you only watched 2 games because the other 11 he got pressured and threw td strikes to Jeudy, Waddle, and Ruggs in stride. There is a very good reason he was the leading Heisman contender throughout most of the year.

I'd definitely have taken Peter Warrick over Jerry Rice. As good as Rice was at MVSU, D1-AA guy can't get the nod.
Yep. It is obvious that the NFL career carried weight with some of the players........which it shouldn't have.

Dude, Bo was good don’t get me wrong, but when anyone asks me who the best college football player I’ve ever seen play it’s Herschel Walker without hesitation and it’s not close. He was a man amongst boys , and I have no dog in the hunt.

Herschel had a better career because he was more durable (which is obviously important) and he deserves to be on this list, but if both are fully healthy and you've got to win one game you're going with Bo.

No Leroy Jordan? List is a pile of poo.

They got one of them correct. The other racked up 70% of his yards against hapless teams. (Looking at all of your personalities #34)
411 yards, 6 TDs in 3 Sugar Bowls... Which aren't included in his 5,259 total in his 3 years.
Rushed for less than 100 yards in only 5 games, 4 being in his FRESHMAN year.
So exactly which games against good teams was he shut down again?

Only Auburn fans think Bo > Herschel.
Add this Clemson Tiger to that list. Bo > Hershel. Hershel never crossed the goal line against Clemson in 3 years.

PP7 has an argument for 2nd team but it's whatever.
Him and Glen Dorsey. Dorsey essentially swept every possible award that a defensive lineman is eligible for.
Neither started as a freshman until late in the year, and they both left as Juniors. Otherwise they would be on this list...
Tougher competition for PP7 at CB, but I'd maintain that he is the best college corner I've ever seen outside of maybe those 2 guys that made 1st team.

Yep. Bo just didn't have the carries Walker did. Bo's avg. for four year was 6.6 YPC. Walker's avg was 5.3.
Other than that.....they were the exact same back. Both could run around you or through you.
ETA they had the same amount of receptions and Bo had more yards. Bo's yards from scrimmage was 1.4 more yards per play than Walker's also.

Four best college RBs I ever saw in no particular order....
Barry Sanders
Bo Jackson
Marcus DuPree
O.J. Simpson

I mean that hit was legit...but there were a total of zero OLinemen to put a thumb on him in that play. There are tons of dudes that could have made that play.
JC's ability and talent are undermined by this being what he's known for and being a USCe fan you shouldn't perpetuate it. You should do better.
