My take is that Clemson’s style of play is the achilles heel so to speak to Bama’s. And even then you need studs playing for you, which Clemson obviously has. Is Clemson a better program right now? No in my opinion. Reason being, I do not think Clemson could navigate these SEC west schedules like Bama does. Clemson would drop a game here or there from what we have seen so far. That said, if they are going to recruit like they are right this second, for the forseeable future they could pass Bama up.

It was an even bigger beatdown than 01/09/12, which ended up being a downturn for our program. I don’t think it’s irrational at all to believe Alabama’s program is hurting a little bit after that, especially when Alabama hasn’t been quite as dominant as usual with their recruiting.

Clemson has a very weak schedule. Bama has great talent. As dos Clemson. Bama turned over almost all of their coaches again. Will it have an impact. Who knows. Clemson lost their defensive front. Again who knows.
Bama has three games in the regular season that will make them break a sweat. Clemson has one.
The defending National Champ has to be considered best at this point.

Yes, Clemson is better than Alabama and the ACC is better than the SEC. Just the natural rhythm of things, just like LSU is a natural middle of the pack team in a middle of the pack conference

No. We still the kings. Clemson won they 1st title because of the illegal pick play. And last year if Coach Saban don't try to keep winey baby Najee happy and plays JJ more the game don't get out of hand and maybe we win a close one at the end. We will show the world who's the boss this year again.
