Does the #1 recruiting class in the country mean another National Championship in college football like Alabama has been doing?

Did you see that National Championship football game last year between Clemson and Alabama, Clemson took the Crimson Tide apart?

Clemson has surpassed them.

Alabama is on their downswing. You can see it in Saban's face. He's tired and doesn't have much of his treasured drive left.

It is vital that LSU takes that game from them in Tuscaloosa this year; by any means necessary.

Dabo has definitely done more with less. This year will be a good year for Clemson but they lost a lot on defense especially with the whole dline graduating. This is our year to do work and get into the playoffs and frick the gumps

Gumps will NEVER admit it, but yes is the correct answer.

"Alabama's season ends with loss to Clemson"

"SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- With stunning ease -- and a freshman quarterback -- Clemson toppled college football's greatest dynasty again to become the first perfect playoff champion.

Trevor Lawrence passed for 347 yards and three touchdowns and the second-ranked Tigers beat No. 1 Alabama 44-16 on Monday night in the College Football Playoff national championship game"

Yes. Clemson has shown they have the coaching to beat them with less talent and now are recruiting at a ridiculous level.

It’s over for bama. They’ve gotten stale. Kids are realizing there are other options now where they can compete and actually have fun too

You people are retarded. Did you not see their recruiting class in Feb and what they have so far? They’re loading back up in the trenches, as is Clemson. While the rest of CFB are getting 2-4 Dlinemen a class, Clemson and Bama are stacking up on the best Dlinemen in the country. They’re doing the same at Oline as well. Until we build the trenches like them and like we used to, they will win most of the games against us.

That one game really hurt them but how they respond this season wil determine if they are motivated by it or demoralized.

They definitely gave up and completely accepted defeat early against Clemson. Gump fans (the actual worst in CFB) have already mentally prepared themselves to turn on Saban at the first sign of trouble. If they don't win the NC this season, their dynasty is over.

If that game is played 10 times, Alabama wins it 7 times MINIMUM.

I think people know this in their hearts but the Clemson dick riding is just too satisfying at the moment.

That sounds like something a Bammer would say.

Clemson was the better team that night. Period.

Umm Clemson won by 30 points. Not sure how you or anyone can talk like they weren’t flat out better. If you think bama beats that team 7 out of 10 times then bless your little heart.

That wasn’t the point of the original post nor was it mine.

Bama is no longer seen as the program. That’s a fact that recruiting is showing this year. They’re damn good and will be as long as Saban is there, but no the perception that they are the dominant program is no longer accurate

Said no one who watched that game.

This game was tied for the second largest margin of victory with 2012 Alabama beat down of ND. Only 2004 USC’s 55-19 destruction of Oklahoma tops it.
