Austin Riley has become a huge black hole in the lineup. Hate it for him but it's time to work in Camargo, Culberson, Ender, etc more

Agree, it’s clear the breaking ball is his issue. Send him to Gwinnett and give him reps on it, bring him back later if he’s learned to hold off on it. Clutch Camargo would be an excellent fit in LF.

Anyone want to try to talk me into going to see Nationals/Rockies tonight... I'm in DC for the night after some meetings today but I just can't seem to get excited for it.. Thinking I'll just pick a brewpub or something in town and not bother this trip... just take it easy tonight and put in an early run in the National Mall in the AM. Is this lame or wise... or both?

They just showed a live shot of that stadium on MLBN. That isn't starting on time.

It's been cloudy and drizzling at times all day but no rain where I am right now. Good to know. Pass...

We seem to frequently make average pitchers look like all stars.

We collapse when there’s decent pitching. Dodgers will carve us up.

This team could find itself on the outside looking in very easily after the next road trip if we don’t get back on track.

I’d rather be watching Riley strike out than ender ground out to second every single at bat.

That sucks. Drop it and get Vue. Vue has been saving me $100+ per month for a long time now.

Braves with a big win tonight. Offense woke up. Pitching was great. Beat the Phillies. The nationals were down 2 in the 9th with bases loaded and they lost too. Good night.

Wow postgame interviews are pretty much indicating kakes is done after being hit on the wrist.

Freddie said “it doesn’t look good,” and “hoping for a miracle.”

They were also talking about dansby’s heel in a concerning tone.

Not good.

Hopefully Duvall can keep doing what he has been doing at Gwinnett up here.

Duvall officially called up.

Kate’s has been batting 5 for essentially 5 years now. Who bats 5?

Does Duvall take kakes role fully?

Do Duvall, ender and riley split the job? If so will Acuña play right when Riley is in?

This is unsettling

What’s a realistic timeline for a Markakis recovery? All I can find is articles that he fractured his wrist and was placed on IL, but nothing talking about a timeline.

I wouldn't think any less than 6 weeks. Then rehab.

Could be the end of the season/ playoffs as a return time

Freddie’s wrist a couple years ago was 7 weeks. Even then he wasn’t “right” (by Freddie standards) until the next year.

I love Ozzie batting two when he is on.

Stroman bubble has burst. He’s headed to the Mets. Really surprised at this move. I figured the Mets were sellers.

It cost the Mets their 4th and 6th ranked prospects.
