Still not sure how Gus doesn't get this. If you're going to recruit this kind of QB, you have to run this kind of offense.
I said all last season that Gus should have gone 4-Wide in 40% of our sets and ran Boobie & Cam & Shivers off draws and delays. It made too much sense for them to do it tho

I think he will surprise in the NFL. His game will translate. Tom Brady was the 199th pick, 6th round He started as a Junior at Michigan but shared the job with Drew Henson (sophomore) to start his senior year.
I think Jacksonville should draft him in the 3rd-4th Rd. They play old school off playaction. He's pretty good with a running game, something we NEVER had last season.
Sit him behind Foles for 2 seasons, let him practice against a Top 5 D, he'll be a good pro.
Watch.

if he ever lights it up in the NFL I’m going to get melty about how with a good defense and an NFL QB and NFL RB the best we could do is 10-4

God his hilarious. Stidham took more shite for things that weren't his fault than any Auburn QB I can remember. Not only was he drafted, he got drafted by the greatest NFL/ Coach combo in NFL history. Sure, he has to perform, but being Brady's successor speaks a tad bit.
NFL is way fricking different than college football.

Maybe they can teach him to not shite his pants, and keep his eyes down field. Instead of looking for someone to hit him

He'll have a supporting cast and offensive line. A decent coach too.

Sean White says hi. That kid bounced more balls off of receivers' hands than any QB I can remember. He took enormous shite.

Even I was impressed after reading your predictions. Pretty Nostradamus of you.

Maybe they can develop him with a real QB coach.

Stidham had the worst O line and also had several receivers bounce footballs off their hands.

Which is why a running for his life QB does so much better in this system.

Stidham bailed out of a clean pocket more times than I can count. I also watched him make countless overthrows this year. Maybe he'll improve with the Patriots.
