Why don't y'all just tell him to come to Georgia as a show of good will?
I'll call him now. Just send Burch our way.
Oh, and I want Monty Rice back.

We can trade you two backup LBs for one of your staring receivers.

Total BS, but someone on our board said he was in touch with O over the weekend, and said he was considering flipping, then either changed his mind, or didn't
I can't imagine calling a coach and telling him I am considering flipping. The only way I would call the is to tell them I am flipping. I'd never tell them I am thinking about it.
(I am not saying it didn't happen...just that I wouldn't do it) Thanks for the information, though. These days you never know what is true and what is smoke and mirrors.
You guys have had a great year. Congrats and good luck on the playoffs!

Blocking concerns me a little bit with the younger guys. We'll see
I think we over emphasize blocking with WR's.
Teams are all gonna man up on us next year
and our WR's all better learn how to run routes and get separation.Should be priority one with the entire group.

Maybe, but you almost have to, to get them to block like you want. It can mean the difference in a 10-15 yard gain and breaking one all the way.

Running routes especially. I can't count the number of times our WRs went down the field hugging the sidelines instead of stepping away a yard or two. Drove me crazy. That's basic stuff.

Couldn't break any this season because there were 14.5 men in the box every play. We should work from the primary responsibility and teach the secondary ones.
ETA: I still maintain that the responsibility starts with the coaches, moves to the veteran QB, and only then falls on the young receivers.
But if they need to all be NFL guys for the offense to move then so be it. Let's get all NFL guys.

A WR will block more than he will catch a pass. Even if we are running a pass play, any particular WR has a relatively small chance of getting a reception.

Time ot get off the computer. For some unknown reason the wife thinks she deserves a certain amount of my attention and time. Women.

Teach me how to stack the box with 8 people when we run double twins a good bit.

You can run that but you’ll most likely get burnt bringing a safety in the box.

Not vs Fromm and our receivers.

Exactly, most teams has 1 or 2 safeties back. The issue was being beat at the point of attack too many times.

Joey Yellen at ASU is in the portal. Saw a post saying we offered him out of HS. Anyone familiar?

I remember him a few classes back but haven’t heard his name since... not really interested.
If Fromm indeed leaves, I would hope we could land a bigger fish

Fromm is back in 2020 and Coley won’t be playcaller after Sugar Bowl.

So who’s calling them then?

Jones is wild card right now. Rusty feels good about Stroud and I would say it is 50/50.
Hearing UGA feels good about the following:
1. Ringo
2. Washington
3. Burch
4. Burns
5. Reed
6. Manning
7. Smith
8. Burton
Heavy in DBs it seems but that is what I am hearing.
LSU is pushing hard to keep Burton from flipping/signing. Sam Brown would be backup plan
